Very nice small hotel. Great location, with all tourists places at walking distance. Metro and tramway just a few metres away. You can easily reach any part of Istanbul from the hotel. The owner is very helpful, giving advice and helpful tips every morning at breakfast.

Great location with extremely helpful staff. The room was nice with comfortable pillows and nice amenities including robes, plus it was lovely that they provided 6 bottles of water for free for my use.

Back to Istanbul few years later, I was delightfully surprised during my second stay in this hotel. As a frequent traveller, I know how hard to maintain the same level of quality throughout the years especially with the staff shifting constantly. But here nothing has changed since then and just got better. Same smiling faces, same cleanness, same attention to...

The very first time that I knew about Hotellino was the Korean TV show "Flower Sisters". Then this year, when I visited Istanbul and stayed in Hotellino, I have found this little home and people who own there and who work there are even more lovely than those "flower sisters". The pros: 1. The hotel owner is soooo friendly and...

Hotellino is a standard hotel with all the basics you'd need to make your trip to Istanbul great. Located in the centre of town it's a walk to sultanahmet, the Bosporous, the grand bazaar and the spice market, and is close to various means of transportation. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, willing to point you in the direction...

So glad we stayed here, the room was very neat, clean and had a great bathroom. There was lots of cupboard space and a kettle for the cup of tea you need after a huge day exploring! We only had a few days in Istanbul and had no idea where to start. A staff member sat down with us on...

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighbourhood Profile
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
