Nice Place :)) I did a one week trip in Istanbul and stayed in this place for 1 night. Was pretty cool. Not only the friendly environment, but also safety of my luggage made me feel comfortable. I guess if somebody goes to Istanbul and wants to relax after the long rambling day around the city, this hostel could be...

Loved the service quality, always very friendly and kind. I was afraid that I was going to be lost but the employees helped me out a lot, since it is a touristic place they told me the cheap places to eat and see.

I stayed in both locations of this hostel. The first location was nice, had a great common room area and a kitchen (great opportunity to meet new and interesting people), the staff was awesome (especially Nessie), and the layout/design was really interesting. Plus, they had free computers we could use WIFI with! We would've stayed here the whole time if...

I stayed at this hostel in August 2012 with 2 other friends. The hostel is located right in the middle of Istanbul, not far from the main Taksim square. The bus from the airport will stop exactly on the square. People at the hostel are very helpful, especially a young receptionist guy who helped us with our bus tickets to...

Staying in Beyoglu

Neighbourhood Profile
Beyoglu
Istanbul’s most famous street, pedestrianized Istiklal Caddesi (Independence Avenue), throbs day and night and offers a fantastic array of architectural sights, shops, treats, and throngs upon teeming throngs of people. At the avenue’s northeastern end is expansive Taksim Square, thought by many to be the very heart of the city, with many of Turkey’s most renowned restaurants and some of Europe’s most happening nightlife in close proximity. In striking contrast, Beyoglu’s less trafficked areas – such as the affluent Cihangir and the antiques district of Cukurcuma – exude Old World charm and provide contemplative calm and splendid diversion via an assortment of cozy cafes, attractive boutiques, and quiet lanes.
