We stayed at TomTom for 4 nights nights total, at the beginning and end of a two-week honeymoon through Turkey. The service was impeccable. From recognizing it was our honeymoon and leaving us wine and fruit in the room, to quickly ordering taxis for us and recommending and reserving tables at great restaurants and holding a bag for us for... We spent only two nights at the hotel but we wish that it was longer. All of the hotel staff were extremely courteous and helpful. Especially the concierges. They went out of their way to make you feel welcome. When we came back from an outing a concierge that we had never me greeted us. He know our names and... More

We had been to Istanbul once before years ago and stayed at a lovely hotel in the Old Town. I can say without question, however, that the Tom Tom Suites was a much better experience overall. The rooms are lovely - high ceilings, modern decor, huge bathrooms (all quite unusual for European hotels). The location is in the New District,... More

We checked in easily and our suite was ready for us. Beautiful! High Ceilings, living room, Huge bedrooms with view out towards the bospherous. Beds very comfortable and our white marble bathroom was one I wish we had at home. Stunning room. We had drinks in the early afternoon as it was raining and sat in the rooftop restaurant watching... Following the recommendation of friends we spent 4 nights at Tomtom suites. This really is a gem of a hotel: an oasis of calm and quiet good taste. We stayed on the 1st floor in room 14 and our relatives stayed in room 16. Both were spacious and excellent quality. The welcome was superlative: Nural (Guest Relations) was very warm... More

A gem. Located on a quiet street but close to major shopping and restaurants. We are frequent and discerning travelers. Don't miss the opportunity to stay here. The staff is friendly, courteous and professional. The rooms are bright and comfortable and the breakfast hearty and delicious. No need to stay in 5 star chain hotels. The Tom Tom met all... More

We spent 8 days at Tomtom and had a terrific time. The accommodation is modern, spacious and very comfortable. The hotel is in a quiet neighbourhood but very central. The service was excellent, especially Nural at the front desk. He spent time understanding our dining preferences and recommended many fabulous restaurants.

The Tomtom suites was the most fantastic introduction to Istanbul. The hotel is fabulously designed and maintained. The staff are pleasant and helpful. The rooms are spacious, classy and comfortable. I am well travelled and quite picky about my accommodation. I have nothing bad to say about Tomtom. This is what accommodation should be. Full marks. Thank you very much

On the basis of previous Tripadvisor reviews we booked three nights here for our a weekend in Istanbul prior to a week spent on the coast. The attention to detail started before we arrived with emails suggesting airport transfers and bookings for restaurants and tour guides. The transfers worked perfectly and we were glad we had booked a guide for... More

Staying in Beyoglu

Neighbourhood Profile
Istanbul’s most famous street, pedestrianized Istiklal Caddesi (Independence Avenue), throbs day and night and offers a fantastic array of architectural sights, shops, treats, and throngs upon teeming throngs of people. At the avenue’s northeastern end is expansive Taksim Square, thought by many to be the very heart of the city, with many of Turkey’s most renowned restaurants and some of Europe’s most happening nightlife in close proximity. In striking contrast, Beyoglu’s less trafficked areas – such as the affluent Cihangir and the antiques district of Cukurcuma – exude Old World charm and provide contemplative calm and splendid diversion via an assortment of cozy cafes, attractive boutiques, and quiet lanes.
