The highlight of every day was breakfast; the terrace and food were wonderful, and seeing Seda and Muhammed--who run the buffet-- was a great way to start my day. Also, the Terrace was available the rest of the day and night to use for reading or just enjoying...

The staff is friendly, Rooms are clean and service the maximum offered by looking for in many hotels. They have a wide selection of breakfast. For most, however, consider it...

This hotel is positioned perfectly for sight seeing. Everything is within walking distance. The rooms are lovely. Very clean and great service. The guys on reception were very helpful and friendly. There is no lift but with a little help with the cases this really wasn't a problem.

Booked 2 nights at this hotel in September. The hotel is right down Akbiyik Cad on the main drag, surrounded by cafes, restaurants, supermarkets and hotels. My room was on the first floor and was well appointed with all the modern facilities that you would expect from a first class hotel. The room had a lot of old world charm,...

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighbourhood Profile
Sultanahmet
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
