This is an OK hotel for Uzbekistan, although we did find it noisy at night, as our room was opposite the dining room where other guests were drinking. The pool area and dining room are quite nice, and the breakfast OK. There are several acceptable restaurants nearby. Like all the hotels we stayed in in Uzbekistan, there was free wifi....

The hotel was fine - good pool and nice food, though its not nearly as nice as it looks in the pictures. However, I had a very unpleasant run-in with the hotel receptionist who tried to charge me for an extra night when I checked in at 5am, despite my being clear that I only wanted to drop my bags...

Found the pool and surroundings of the hotel pleasant and only a short bus ride to the airport. The state of one of the twin beds was foul with blood and faeces stained sheets and resulted in the two of us squeezing into a very small single bed with much trepidation. The reception staff we found cold and unfriendly though...

Stayed one night. Went to a much better hotel the second night. Very, unfriendly to a white mail from the USA. Horrible front desk and room was not clean, I complained and told too bad.

Grand Orzu was suggested by a working partner of ours and though rather affordable, it offers a warm welcome at the reception for free and enough services, including efficient staff attending all your requests. The internet service is still quite poor (I would have appreciated having a WiFi connection in my room, being in Tashkent for business),but the other services...

Check in - Reception staff was efficient and had the reservation information on hand Housekeeping staff - They are also good. The room was clean and equipped with their soap and shampoo. Towels OK. Hot water hot, not just warm. Room - Nicely appointed with a good goose neck desk lamp (other, more expensive hotels have few lights/lamps and they...

The Grand Orzu hotel is perfectly decent, affordable hotel. It is basic, but you get what you pay for. My wife and I stayed in a large suite at the end of the top floor. No lift to take up our luggage but the stairs were wide and quite shallow. We had asked for a double bed but got two...

Used this hotel as a layover between flights and the “service” they have for pickup at the airport to the hotel with taxi is much more expensive then a normal taxi. The rooms are old and worn down, needs a renovation. The food in the restaurant is ok. I would not live here for a couple of nights, but for...

Convenient to the Airport, good breakfast, has a swimming pool and good wifi in the rooms. There aren't many restaurants close by except the Caravan and Chelsea Arms. Both are expensive but the Caravan has fantastic live music. Better than a concert.
