The hotel is in a quiet commercial area (lacking shops and nearby restaurants, and with a local junior college across the street) which connects two main roads but carries little traffic. In the city centre, Independence Square is a convenient 10-15 minute walk away. English-speaking staff at reception were pleasant, helpful and cooperative. During our stays, Farizod and Marut were...

It's conveniently located if you're working in the embassy sector. Or you want something close to Amur Timur Square. As everyone else has noted, rooms are HUGE! You'll become breathless just unpacking. Personally. Found breakfast grim, there's plenty if you like pastries, not so much if you want fresh fruit or anything a bit unusual, forget it. AC isn't, it's...

I stayed at Miran International from 23 to 28 October 2016. I had read a luke-warm report of this hotel and was a bit apprehensive in selecting it. However, once at the hotel, it turned out to be a wonderful experience. Nearly all employees spoke English and communication was no problem with the staff. The hotel itself is imposing and...

But so many hotels in this part of the world are. The Lotte, which is the only competition until the Hyatt opens later this year, is the same. Perhaps it doesn’t show the dirt. The Miran staff are endlessly helpful though, and the hotel is reasonably well located about 10 minutes’ walk from the nearest metro station. Breakfast presents a...

This is a fine hotel located at walking distance from Westminster University, the palace of congress and the fine esplanade around Timur's statue. Everybody remarked on the huge rooms. They are even bigger that pictures suggest. The breakfast was fine. You can have omelette made to your liking. Staff speaks good English. Food is expensive. Two white coffee and an...

Friendly staff. Rooms show the wear of years. Rooms are unusually huge with few amenities. Breakfast was average. In walking distance of the central square and many restaurants with different cuisine. Money exchange bank in lobby.

I stayed at the Miran International Hotel for one night, whilst on a business trip. I received a very warm welcome from the staff, who were friendly and helpful, organising an early start to breakfast service to accommodate my early departure for a flight. My room was enormous, with a huge, very comfortable bed, facilities to make a hot drink...

Stayed here for 5 nights related to business meetings around the 25th independent day of Uzbekistan. The rooms are large and comfortable, breakfast is fine. Service is effective and polite. It is not a fantastic hotel but the location is really worth something. Price I fine on the side (250 USD per night)

Good hotel with spacious rooms. Although the rooms seem a little dates, they were clean, quiet and allowed for nice nights sleep. Tashkent is a very large spread out city so hotel is not close to that many sights but within of about 15 mins you can reach a few spots and the metro is nearby which makes life easier....
