I strongly recommend this fine and lovely hotel to those who plan to make a visit to Dushanbe. Owner of the place was nice and friendly. The hotel staff were as well. The hotel is located at the very heart of the beautiful city of Dushanbe.

This not a "hotel". This is a Guest House. I happily occupied Room #4 for 5 nights. The air conditioning worked perfectly. The room was exceptionally clean. The shower cabinet was great. Numerous clean picture TV channels in every language you could want. The ladies on staff made me a reasonable omelet with fresh ingredients and cold juice to go...

Location: Central and quiet, just behind the Twin-Towers, off Rudaki Prospekt, and close to small shops Building: More a large house than a hotel, i.e. not purpose built; the style is stuck in the "good old days", and the President is looking down from the first floor; Room: Not new, not clean, not practical, but at least no insects Bathroom:...

I was there on business and the Embassy had reserved a room for me at the Kenyon #2. The best experience was the outside yard areas which were clean, open, beautiful and ornate. The hotel was very old style business style Russian fare. Rooms very extremely large, but many things simply did not work. The water for showers and baths...

I booked a month in advance and confirmed my arrival once more before arrival. I arrived very early in the morning to be put into a used room stinking of cigarette smoke, the toilet to put it mildly was "not flushed", towels used, linnen used, floor dirty, no drinking water available anywhere in the hotel. Breakfast was not worth mentioning....

This is a highly secure hotel where one feels safe to stay. There is a beautiful garden with rose plants at this hotel. Some stone benches are here where one can sit and relax. I stayed here for two days. My room was large, comfortable and clean. The bed was cozy and comfortable to sleep in. At nights, it was...

The Kayon-2 appears to be a mansion that has been converted into a small hotel. This hotel, together with Kayon-1 and another mansion, are surrounded by a gated security wall. During the day, the gate is open; during the night, a guard sleeps in the gatehouse. The compound is location a few steps from one of the main avenues in...

“Don't go to Tajikistan unless you do not mind sponge baths from bottled water and constant odors of sewage. Historically, an awesome place to stay. As I enjoy history, this changed my complete rating from a 1 to a 5.”
