It was a small boutique hotel with the National Museum and Parliament House just across the road. Room was comfortable and cosy especially during the cold night. Staff was friendly with the Renaissance Restaurant adjacent to the hotel. Nice meeting rooms to conduct lecture and meeting.

If you read the Lonely Planet guide for Ulaan Baatar (UB to the locals) I think the Urgoo hotels gets a bit of a hard rap. It is a small 4 story converted 1920s town house that is very well done up given the rest of the standard in UB. But where it really wins out is the location -...

I thank you for the review Mr. Douglas, I'm surprised you know the history of the building so well. As it is an old building, we try to maintain it the best we can. The water issue is one we are trying to improve soon. We hope to see you again.

I chose this hotel based on TripAdvisor reviews and was not disappointed. I spent just one night there. It is located next to the main square in the city centre, so ideal for visiting the main sights in UB. The room was comfortable with a handy kitchenette. The staff were very efficient and helpful, both before and after my arrival...

This hotel is awesome. Comfy beds, spacious room, big shower and a tub! The main desk guy was great. It's a perfect location. Only issue was a lackluster breakfast. My pancakes were good but my husbands eggs left something to be desired. Definitely recommend it highly!

it's a very nice boutique hotel just in front of the national museum in the verry center of Ulaan Bator, so it's very convenient although rooms on the front are a bit noisy because busy street, you can't open the window. but it's overprice even if they upgrade us to deluxe suite for a standard price but it was because...

Well, not my hotel, of course, but the one I was staying in, the Urgoo Hotel. She looked stunning, even more beautiful than she did in Paris, 15 years ago. She was accompanied by a burly fellow who looked me up and down and snorted.. This is Bildop, she said. My husband. He speaks no English. That was a start....

We stayed here for one night after visiting the countryside. It was a welcome oasis after being out of civilization for a few days. We had made a reservation in person several days before for a room without a kitchenette , and when we arrived they gave us a room with a kitchenette. We smelled a rat, so we looked...

Came to Ulaanbaatar without expecting much. Turned out to be an excellent holiday in a very good hotel. A bit pricey but very pleasant and hassle-free. Breakfast included and was excellent. Day trip to Terelj national park was good except for the bad roads full of potholes. Female guide was friendly and spoke good English but was sleepy most of...

This is a small modern boutique hotel located a short walk away from Sukhbaatar Sq. It is quite pricey but so are most hotels in this city. For the money you get a good location and sizable, clean and very modern rooms. The staff are friendly and obliging. The room I stayed in was very spacious with a kitchenette and...
