Possitives: Comfy bed, good location, not top expensive, breakfast included. Negatives: grumpy staff who didn't seem to want to help (with minimal English), fairly poor breakfast, we wanted water instead of tea/coffee but the staff couldn't decide if we should be allowed one bottle or two. It was fairly run down although not too dirty. I suspect you can do...

Stayed in a dorm for 40.000kips. The place is clean enough but the staff is really not professional, they don't speak English. There is a few couches in the entrance Where you can chill but the tv is always on and the kids of the family are yell all day.

This place is in the top 3 of the worst places I have stayed. Everything is old, there is a sewer smell around, the walls are really thin so you hear everything including noisy people comming back late at night, people having sex and a man with serious diarrhea(I was actually concerned about him with the noises he made). The...

2 positives about this place, bed was comfortable and location. The rest, not so positive.... Stayed in a double room on 1st floor. Staff doesn't seem to know what 'smile' is, and 'costumer service'... The place itself is run down, very dated. Holes in the door, (which is semi fixed with duct-tape), the security lock was hanging on 2 screws,...

I cannot believe this place has the nerve to charge over £13 for what they offer, it's a JOKE. The room was just OK, bed was comfortable that was the only positive really. Aircon wasn't great at all and the wifi just didn't work, we were on level 3. The shared bathrooms are right outside our door so the noise...

Arrived in Vientiane last night, and had booked this place in advance. We checked out first thing this morning and left. It's absolutely vile. They picked us up from the airport, for 60'000 kip, the driver was nice and courteous (didn't catch his name but he was the only decent worker- and he's Vietnamese!) We had a double room with...

I stayed in a single room with shared bathroom. Unfortunately I found the bed to somewhat uncomfortable and the low speed fan to be wholly inadequate in combating the heat. Needles to say I did not have the best of sleeps here. Inexplicably, I was also woken up by the sound of children, I believe the staff's, playing in the...

Perfect for a few nights in Vientiane. Close to river and night markets, plenty of cafes and restaurants close by too. Only problem we had was we were checked into a room on the first day that was at the back, near the toilets and drainage, the room smelt pretty bad from it so we asked to move and they...

We stayed at Mixay GH for 4 nights.... but wanted to leave after 2. Unfortunately we applied for our Vietnam Visa on a Friday so had to stay in Vientiane over the weekend so extended our stay at Mixay GH to 4 nights...big mistake! This place is DODGY! I suspect the girl in the room opposite ours was a "working...
