It's expensive for the quality,, no lift, no bar fridge, old rooms, but very well located and easy to get to from the airport,, i'm moving tomorrow to another hotel. This hotel is rated 3 stars but it should only be 2 stars,, overated,, i'm in the balcony room, a very nice room but so noisy and in the morning...

We took 2 rooms with 2 persons to a room which they up grade us to family rooms. We stayed for 5 days and 4 nights, it costs us US$90, which we think it is fair since they upgrade us. The rooms maybe old but it is clean. The air con is new and the wifi is average. They don't...

Ok, first the pluses. The biggest asset of this hotel is the location. The black stupa or "That Dam" is just a few steps away, equally near is the National Museum. Chou Anouvong Park is 2 blocks away. The Presidential Palace and Wat Sisaket are 4-5 blocks away. The morning market and Wat Si Muang is within walking distance too!...

i spent $18 per night (not included breakfast). Compare to guesthouse or backpacker, it is expensive 3 times more but quality is suck. When i arrived there around 00:30, the receptionist came late and not mentioned any excuses for being late. The room was also dirty and fan inside the room made noise. I couldn't sleep well cuz of its...

How can I say ... I don't think my review is fair for this hotel. But paying the same price for a night right here at New Lao Paris Hotel -- and another one in Udon Thani, Thailand -- (mere 80 km distance) It's totally different experience. New Lao Paris Hotel has good (but not great) location in town. Walking...

Although lacking somewhat in atmosphere we enjoyed our few nights here - working air-con + large room + balcony + pleasant quiet staff + 2 minutes walk from Mix Square. Only slight negatives were the generally old feeling (dark corridors, aged furnishings), some road noise and the 60+ steps to get to the 4th floor room.

Staying here for 3 nights at the start of July and the rate is $22 a night. I'll start with positives: Rooms are spacious, there's a TV but we didn't use it and the location is good if you want to see various monuments and museums. My experience here doesn't give me many more reasons to look for positives... On...

I don't understand the negative comments below. You're paying $15 a night for a single room with AC and decent wifi. Fast enough to watch my Walking Dead series on my tablet. I was accessing this wifi easily from the 3rd floor. The bed is very comfortable and clean. The bathroom, granted, is old. But it's clean enough. There is...

Unfortunately the only thing really going for this hotel is the affordable price and friendly staff. Apart from that, it's not worth it if you are staying here longer than a night or two. As I was on a budget with a two day trip to Luang Prabang in between, I didn't mind so much. But if you are planning...

Smelly, dirty room, Wi fi speed was poor and I would not recommend this hotel to anybody, but its not far from bus station which is one of the only reason's we stayed. Room are not even cheap in comparison to others in the area.
