We booked for 2 nights but My boyfriend wanted to leave after the first night. There're a hole on the door and they put a tissue to fix that, old bed sheet and WiFi was not so good on the 3th floor. We moved to another place which was cheaper and better nearby.

Top floor rooms without private bathroom offer a quiet night (depending on your neighbours of course). Shared bathrooms are ok, clean and functional. Staff is friendly and the lobby is a nice place to surf online.

The hotel offers some budget rooms, but don't expect any service. Bathrooms are very basic, so are the rooms. Many "yellow spots" on the blankets, so we slept on our own. Finally, before entering the nightbus we asked if we could use the shared bathroom for a quick fresh-up, but they charged us 40,000kip, which was almost half of the...

To start with the positive, the rooms are large and clean with new furniture. Downwards... the television remote was missing (only have to ask, but wait..) and only one towel provided. You could call reception but... we eventually sound the phone in the wardrobe. The air conditioning was very loud and just about functional. There is also a hard-to-spot step...

We stayed two nights at Haysoke Guesthous Vientiane. Rooms were basic, no wifi available (only poor connection in the lobby). There is a café and the menu looks promising but when you actually order something, it appears that you can only choose between yoghurt and a hot drink. Last but not least, when we checked out and arrived at the...

Haysoke Guesthouse is a place to stay if you want to roam around the city on foot. Clean rooms, friendly and smiling hotel personnel, coffee shop and near a lot of local eateries and fx dealers. Accessible from interesting sites due to the availability of public transportation (local tuktuk).

The staff are wonderful, cafe delicious, rooms spacious and foyer modern. Rooms were spotlessly clean and it was at a comparable price to similar rooms in VTE. HOWEVER- I had a terrible sleep. The pillows were horrendous and mattresses not much better. I heard this from other friends who also stayed. If they invest in new mattress and pillows this...

Room is a bit old but smell was OK. If you have a leg problem please request them for low level. They have 4 level with no elevator. It's located near Mae Khon River - 5 minutes walk and many restaurant around there.

We've been on the road for 13 months. Stayed in some great and some not so great places. This was the most minging of the lot. It does not look so bad from the street and the room didn't seem that bad a first glance, but we were tired and the usual gut feeling seemed not to be working this...

Overpriced at 100,000 kip for a dusty, stuffy room with no private bathroom. Both of the shared bathrooms were barely functional (door not closing properly, one of the door handles actually came off, the toilet could not be flushed unless i reached into the water tank and lifted up the valve manually to release the water). No wifi, and the...
