The owner of this hotel just spent an hour going round town with me helping me get my bike fixed. he was happy to help and i couldn't recommend this place more. its a nice hotel too, good balconies that look out over the main street, competitively prices with decent rooms.

This hotel was quite out the way for most things, but it was only about a 15 min walk to the night market with lots of nice little restaurants on the way, and there is tons of street food on the market if that's your thing. The room was fairly big and clean, but the shower was a dribble.

Stayed here for 4 nights during the end of Buddhist lent and it provided an adequate service that met our basic needs. The hotel is in a great location for anything that requires walking. During our stay we visited COPE, Lao national museum, various restaurants and the boat festival, all of which were comfortably walkable. The noise was extremely loud...

Stayed in the Win hotel for several nights whilst in Vientiane awaiting the boat racing festival. The rooms were basic but clean enough. There were some slight marks and scuffs on the walls but nothing that stood out. Our room had a fridge and AC both worked extremely well! There is also a TV which offered some English channels if...

This place is exactly what backpackers want. Simple room with the most fantastic staff. Booking through trip advisor agents will cost you around 5 times the amount. Such a shame considering it's such a sound hotel. We paid $25 USD a night and the staff walked us to our room and made sure everything was perfect. Even upgraded one of...

Stayed for 2 nights, first night I paid in Thai baht 650b, second night I paid in Lao currency 200,000 which converts to 800 baht so why 2 prices?? The room is slightly rundown, paint peeling of walls and cheaply furnished. On the good side hotel has working Wi-Fi, quiet room and tv has the ATP tennis channel, also located...

When we arrived in Laos at 2 am to find the hotel that we were supposed to be staying in dark and locked, we were desperate to find a place to stay. The Win Hotel has a young man who actually sleeps in the lobby so he can answer the door. It was a little odd to see someone camped...
