Lao Silk Hotel is really well located. It is a bit price, but no different then all the other places. Vientiane is just an expensive city. We had a small but really nice room. Nice view and also a nice bathroom. Everything looked really clean. The breakfast was also really good.

We got to the hotel very early, about 10am, and they made a room ready for us. A great place to stay. Near the night market, and lots of restaurants. Nice clean room, but no view. Also offered to give us a breakfast sandwich since we were leaving before regular breakfast.

The location was great as only half a block from waterfront and markets in Vientiane. My room was extremely small. Thank goodness I was travelling alone. Even with 1 other person we would have been tripping over each other. I was on 4th floor and there is no lift. No hot water in shower. Staff were very friendly. Luckily I...

From agoda says it 25m2 room with balcony... The truth is only less than 11m2 in the room, plus less then 2m2 balcony (~3m1 x ~2m8) Tiny room! TV is not working well, blurry! Bathroom w shower head won't stay on the wall, and no hooks for towels. (so I end-up with one hand) Cabinet with no hangers AC with...

The room here quite small, the wi-fi signal wasn't strong enough. ABF quality was ok, staff was very nice and helpful. The hotel should prepare the umbrella at the front desk counter as it rained and i asked for the umbrella at the reception counter and the answer is "we don't have an umbrella"

This place was awesome and WAY better than similarly priced guesthouse rooms nearby. It was nice and classy and had a good little cafe. Our room was on the 5th floor, which was a little bit of a hike since there were no elevators, but it was fine. The hotel is in the middle of everything, close to the river...

First off, the prices in Vientiane for decent lodging is ridiculous. But, booking through Agoda for this hotel worked out great and discounts the rooms by several USD off the walk-in rate. We booked the Superior room, a gorgeous 5th floor corner suite with a great view. It was well furnished and stocked with proper amenities. Yes, there's no elevator...

This hotel is very comfortable. Has good wifi, English tv, good air con, comfy bed, balcony, and great bathroom. Price may have gone up a bit over the years but so has many of the rooms around the same area. If you want a nice, decent sleep, book a night!

Reading the reviews here I have to say I was pleasantly surprised when arriving. For the price it seems unbeatable. Has a new and nice cozy lobby they looks new and the rooms are clean, in fact bathroom in my room looks like it's fairly new as well. I stayed at the standard room. Yes, rooms are small but what...
