The hotel located in the main street which nearly the night martket and mekong river. It is easy to go the main tourist : Patuxay , That luang templer , Simuang templer , Mixay Templer , Inpeng Templer , Vat Chan templer , ..... ect. The hotel have so many kind of room, good service , best location , best wifi, especially the swimming pool on 10 floor.
I stayed at the Aaron hotel twice in December 2019. What I like about this hotel: spacious room, huge bathroom, many toiletries, a lot of cabinets and drawers to store clothes, the Mekong river view, the fitness center. Everytime the staff helped us to park in front of the hotel as our car is to low to go down the parking lot. I stayed at many hotels in Vientiane and there is no hotel with such amenities at this price. The staff has been always friendly to me I cannot comment on their English as I converse with them in Lao. People complained about the breakfast but I stayed at Best Western Hotel next door and the breakfast was similar even if the room is twice the price of Aaron Hotel.
Pros - Great Location, build quality and fit out good by South East Asian Standards. Cons - Woeful breakfast, noisy tour groups in middle of night, annoying elevator noise, pool is dull and cold. Staff inattentive. Had a staff member on their radio in the hall at 3am one night talking to reception! The location is fantastic and offers lots of nearby wonderful eateries. The manager (or maybe I should call him the "bloke" that seems to be in charge) is not at all customer focused. Be aware the pool area is very stale and uninviting. The area is not cleaned regularly with many cigarettes in the ash trays that seem infrequently cleaned. Avoid the breakfast at all costs. There are so many better options. The breakfast consists of almost nothing other than noodle soup or cold eggs. We have stayed in many South East Asian Hotels and this is not the worst hotel but in Vientaine there are lots of better options.…
look if there was a rating of 3.5 that's what I would have given this hotel. Lets look at the highs. The room was great we had the Aaron Suite, it was clean, comfortable and quite big. The location is great, there are some great eating areas and a good Par 5 to see the Mekong River. The staff were very helpful but strangely all some of the service staff were the security people but they were very obliging. The Lows. Well we ordered a car pick up through the hotel but they never showed up so we got a taxi. The breakfast is a little bit ordinary but the one thing that got to me was a "Tea bag". Now it might sound strange but when you go to most Hotels they replace the tea bags, so after running out I managed to find one of the Room staff and asked for tea bag, her reply was that they didn't have any, only coffee, no big deal so I had a coffee instead. This was not budget accommodation, in fact it is great value for the money, so if you can put up with the little things that can be fixed then I highly recommend the Aaron as a place to stay.…
This is the new hotel, locating right in the old quarter with swimming pool, buffet breakfast, and the affordable price. The manager is very enthusiastic, he takes care of every clients with his heart. What can you expect more than that?
