We stayed there 2 nights, the receptionist asked us to pay the 2 nights upfront and told us wifi could be used only downstairs. It seems like their boss is s bit tight: wifi works perfectly on the 3rd floor (where we stayed) and if you don't want you can pay your rooms when checking out. Staff is hopeless, not...

We selected this guesthouse based on Tripadvisor reviews and our choice was right. The Souphaphone guesthouse is situated in a quiet street not far from the banks of the Mekong. Plenty of nice restaurants around the corner. Spacious rooms and very clean. Staff even cleaned the balconies several times a day. Some rooms have no windows at all which seems...

Great place with great rooms. We got a double ensuite and it was large and spacious. Everything was clean, the shower wasn't bad and the tv had good cable! All of the staff were helpful and friendly. We paid 170,000kip a night. Location is great, on the street with all the cafes and bars.

The hotel is new, very clean and helpful staff. Wifi is available for free. Good resteraunts nearby and you can walk everywhere. Make sure you ask for a room with a window if it is important to you. No elevator so if you have lots of luggage request lower floor, but staff will help you.

The guesthouse was very clean and staff helpful. Very reasonably priced. Was a bit noisy during the night, but there was a large tour group staying at the same time so it could have been them.

We booked here on the recommendation of someone on TA and (Rufuscat) many many thanks. This is what you call a real find. The rooms are large and comfortable, the bathrooms are usable and considering what we paid elsewhere and what we got, we were very impressed with this little gem. The staff were lovely and everytime we came in...

If you find yourself in Vientiane I would say to book this guesthouse. The rooms were very, very clean and the staff were excellent. I have no complaints whatsoever about this place.

Room was on top floor, very clean and big. Good value for the price. Good sealed window so no bugs can get in which is hard to find in southeast Asia. Stairs was a bit steep but again it's unusual to have a lift at this price range. We got the breakfast included where you pay a few dollars extra...

Paid $22/night for 4 nights in December 2010. Well located, family-run guesthouse with rooms on three floors. Rooms and common areas are immaculate and spacious (bigger than typical US hotel room, 4 times the size of European ones), if sparcely decorated. Large comfortable bed, TV, bottled water provided daily. Bath has shower, adequate, water pressure, temperature. Excellent air con. Maid...
