The hotel located in front of the river make this hotel become best for its location. Our checkin room has a smelly toilet and the water did not flash properly . The receptionist, man , little fat told us that the room is 50$ but he wrote down in his record 45$. I gave him 2000 baht and he return me the change of 55000 kip. The correct amount that he should return in kip is 146717$. I know , the owner doesn't know this issue. Please take care your staff activity otherwise you will fail in this business.
As a building, it’s not “A” class. But, the fantastic restaurant on top of the building, the breathtaking view of Mekong river, early in the morning, and the helping employees, make it a “B+”!!!! Walking distance from the Vientiane center, as well as, from the night market, make it super convenient!
I liked the stay at this hotel. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The view of the mekong river is great too! Breakfast was decent. The roof top bar has a good selection as well. Will definitely stay again on my next trip
There are definitely pros and cons to this hotel. It’s right on the riverside in an excellent location. There are a multitude of riverside restaurants right outside the hotel that come alive in the evening. Secondly, because it’s a 10-15 minute walk away from the town centre, it’s nice and quiet at night for sleeping. Thirdly, the hotel has a rooftop restaurant where they serve the breakfast buffet. The views from here, overlooking the Mekong, are beautiful. Fourthly, the rooms are quiet big from a square footage perspective and the bed was comfortable. Now for some areas for improvement. The bathroom was dimly lit, making it difficult to shave or do anything. The customer service is somewhat lacking. I stayed here twice, once at the beginning of my trip and again at the end. It’s was problematic communicating via email to arrange for the free airport pickup. They never responded back the first time so I had to take a taxi from the airport instead of getting a free pickup. Secondly, the breakfast, although adequate, could be improved. They did have an employee making fresh omelettes if you desired, but there was no meat like bacon or sausages. Not a big deal, but something for consideration. Most of the breakfast items were geared towards Asian customers, which is ok given their customer demographics. Notwithstanding the limited breakfast menu, however, the staff were friendly even with their limited English. As well, the view from the rooftop terrace while eating breakfast was amazing. All in all, I would definitely stay there again if the need arises.…
Looks pretty nice from the outside of the hotel, but the hotel was very disappointing. Leaky plumbing in the bathroom, bed was rock hard, breakfast had old stale pastries. WiFi was very poor. The room was clean enough, except for the plumbing leak and paper plugs added to the holes in the ceiling above the bathtub/shower unit. Desk staff was tired like the general condition of the hotel. Won’t stay there again.
