Despite requesting it well in advance, our airport pickup was delayed by one hour and a guy finally showed up only after we called the hotel. Not exactly what you need after an almost 24hrs journey. Then we asked about minivans to Vang Vieng and we were told that the price was 60,000 kip per person, but the day after... More

We had rooms near reception which were noisy, especially when staff were preparing breakfast but otherwise good value for money. The breakfast was adequate and reception staff were helpful. Location was fine, easy to get a tuk tuk from the bottom of the road.

We came from Luang Prabang on the sleeper coach and arrived at the northern bus station. The jumbo driver had no problems sending us to Aroon Residence. He knew it instantly when I'd mentioned the name. The location is superb. Although not right at the 'city center', where it would have been noisy, Aroon is located away from the main... More

$34 per night for a room that includes great A/C, breakfast, effective wifi, bottled water, a great, spacious room with a huge bed, and excellent service makes this quiet hotel a great choice. Add to that the free airport transfer (round-trip) and an good location and you get a very easy choice for a nice little hotel in Vientiane. Will definitely... More

We found and booked the hotel via Agoda. We took a taxi from the airport to get to the hotel and the driver had no troubles finding Aroon Residence. The check-in was very hassle free and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We were given a room on the first floor and if you have problems climbing stairs, request... More

We stayed for four nights there. The hotel is very clean and the service is very good as well. Alex picked us from the airport when we arrived and also took us to the airport when we were leaving. The location is central but far away from the crowded city centre.

Prompt airport pick up Excellent location near a local food market. Local people ate at this market so it was excellent value and a great atmosphere. Close to the bus terminal (to Buddha Park). Rooms were a good size.

My global experience with this hotel was really good. I e-mailed the hotel a couple of days ago for a pickup at the airport. The day I arrived I was personally received by the manager itself. The hotel is around 15 min away from the airport and the transport is free of charge. The entry to the hotel might seem... More

Great budget hotel. We arrived early and they checked us in 4hrs early. We then wanted information about tours with which they were very helpful with. Good location, easy access to tuk tuk. The hotel is tucked back behind some other buildings so it is very quiet. The breakfast was simple but tasty. Not everything to my liking but that... More

The Hotel was ok. The breakfast was average and the room was clean but basic. Overall the hotel is just ok. The staff were good, providing maps, laundry and answering queries. Its also a bit of a walk out of the city centre.
