I was really cross when I checked in. My room w..as very basic not like the same photo which was on the Agoda site and on my booking form. The staff calmed me down and I took stock. I fair sized room with satellite television, BBC world, CNN and a handful of sports channels. There is air conditioning, a ceiling...

The bed was comfortable, good shower, good breakfast, the place was spotless and the staff friendly. Wifi was just OK but good at reception. Airport pickup was perfect. The hotel was a little out of the way (5-10 mins walk) and is only known to tuk tuk drivers by its old name Aaron Residential so it is difficult to find...

The hotel is clean, reasonably close to the centre, and inexpensive. That's about all the positives I can say about it. It's not particularly comfortable, (or uncomfortable for that matter) and while the staff are friendly enough the desk staff are not that helpful, although it may be because their lack of English was the problem rather than their lack...

I was picked up from airport by driver and a young woman manager who told me I couldn't stay at the Aroon Resdence aka La Lco Hotel, because of drains problems but that I would be relocated. The hotel I was taken to did not have the double bed I had booked ands was generally inferior. Also I was told...

Aroon residence didnt make good first impression. An airport pickup has been arranged, noone came (I waited 30 minutes long at the airport crammed with mosquitos). I took taxi. When I arrived at the hotel and told them that I arranged a pickup service I have got just a stupid smile as answer. Nothing else. No apology. The room itself...

I had a nice stay at Aroon residence. The staff is nice, helpful and accommodating. They can arrange for a free airport pickup, which is very nice. There is free wifi everywhere, and it works well. The rooms are large, and rather clean but quite dark (at least the ground floor ones). There is no good space for working (very hard...

This 3 star hotel is very clean. The front desk clerks with whom I interacted spoke great English and were easy to communicate with. There is no heater in the room, which is probably true for most if not all places in Vientiane; so, be sure to have clothing warm enough to be comfortable. I doubled the blanket on my...

Enjoyed our stay here for 4 days. The rooms are big, clean and comfortable. The staff are helpful. The location is ok, but is about 15 mins walk to the centre. We would happily stay here again and would recommend it to others

Arriving was the lowlight ... the complimentary transfer failed and I was scared in a fast-emptying airport, plus the hotel was clearly in a semi-industrial, edge-of-the-city area ... but the staff courteously, apologetically and immediately refunded the cost of the taxi (which I was very lucky to get at night) and I came to look upon the location as a...

We stayed in the guesthouse for one night only, but we were satisfied with the service and the room. The room was clean and good standard, the staff was helpful. They have bicycles for guest available. All in all a good stay and good value for money.

“The A/C in my room had a noisy fan, but since I didn't need to use it, this was not a problem. There is some noise in nearby neighborhoods that can be heard in some rooms but not in others, which is not something that the hotel can control, of course.”
