This place does have some traditional features and some good aspects, and is conveniently situated. However, if there are unruly guests or you're a light sleeper, you could be deprived of a good night's sleep. The hotel could also benefit from a bit of investment, in particular the bathrooms need updating. A better option would be the newly opened Vientiane...

Modest hotel with wooden floors and big rooms, a little outdated but good value for money. Very well located close to downtown but tucked away on a quiet street. Staff and management very friendly and helpful. Lovely outdoor verandah area for breakfast and I believe good paella lunches which I didn't try. I would certainly stay here again.

We stayed at the Laos Heritage Hotel for 1 night in February. The hotel is in a nice spot, a short walk away from the main sites, but in easy reach on foot or by bike. Good size rooms, mainly clean, although bedding & towels could do with an upgrade. Small bathroom, which could also do with an upgrade (one...

I just finished up 6 nights at this lovely little guesthouse. I booked online, initially I was a little concerned when I read a few of the reviews, however was pleasantly surprised when I arrived. The guesthouse is tucked away on a quiet little street behind one of the main tourist areas. Lovely old world feel, wooden floors and homely...

WE ended up staying here twice because we loved it so much. It is a close walk to the river, and is just off one of the main streets. Close enough to everything, but just far enough away. The staff were almost TOO helpful haha. They booked us flights and taxis and really went above and beyond. The restauraunt was...

There was a mix up with our booking for this place (our fault not theirs). The restaurant was very nice and the people very helpful in finding us somewhere else so we decided to go back. Booking online cost us extra and ended up being disappointed with the standard of the room. Basic room, hot water was minimal to none...

Good budget hotel, but located about 15 min walk away from main tourist strip & Mekong river bank. Room are reasonable for the price paid. It is a quaint country house concept hotel with open air garden dinning area where breakfast is also served. No lift as just one floor. Friendly French managress & staff. Breakfast is inclusive. There is...

We spent just one night in Vientiane. Lonely planet recommends this hotel, so we booked a room in advance. The room was OK and we had no complaints, however it is not quite what we had hoped for - its in need of a refurbishment. The staff were helpful and friendly and the outdoor terrace a nice place to sit...
