Last 2 nights stay before we leaving Laos. Traveled from vang vieng and the mini bus was stopped beside the national museum, walking distance to the guesthouse and we no need waste money to take tuk-tuk. Friendly staff, twin bed with super single mattress, clean room, but too bad no view from bedroom and the bathroom door can't close well....

Flying visit to Laos started here and I was met by a friendly French staff member who assured me that the price included breakfast and for a few extra dollars he would arrange a (safety) wake-up call, breakfast at 7.20 am and transport to the airport in time to catch the flight in the morning. The room, bed and shower...

After walking around Vientiane for hours trying to find a place to stay that was not either extortionate or disgusting, we found the Thawee Guesthouse which fitted the bill perfectly. Clean and at a very reasonable price, but the best part of this hotel is the super friendly staff.

There are three positives about our stay here. They have allowed us to check in at 07:00 in the morning and did not charge anything, the air con was working fine and the location is good. Other than that - the room was really worn down (holes in the bathroom door, plaster coming off the walls and ceiling), room and...

Worst guesthouse in the country!!! Avoid at all costs. Would recommend sleeping in the street if this was the only place available. Staff are horrible and dont care. We regret booking this place. Breakfast is stale bread and soft crackers

Went here with no booking greeted by a lovely French man, he was helpful with the room and the price was reasonable for the area. There was a small hick-up with the air-con but this was fixed quickly by the owner. When I received the room I was explained that if I wanted my room cleaned then I was to...

To get a new visa for Vietnam I went for a few days to Vientiane. It's an interesting place and it seems to me that it has a lot of potential, especial for older people who love to eat international food. There are so many restaurants and some are also good. But my room and the service was a disaster....

My boyfriend and I stayed here for two nights... They didn't have any cheap rooms left so they gave us a discount for their expensive room. Considering its one of their best rooms, we were very disappointed. There was a leak in the bathroom and the bed was extremely uncomfortable, we were basically sleeping on bed springs. But at least...

Rooms have Air-Con, TV, WIFI and a Fridge, don't need to leave the room to get a cold drink! The couple who owns the GH are friendly and open to help. The Guy is French and the Woman Lao. This guesthouse has also a restaurant and is well located
