firstly the hotel has had name change ,so no tripadvisor reports,previuosly called;;;BAYAN SALU;;,place looks good from outsine and rooms a have had paintjob,but still old furnishings slightly worn and damaged,wifi only works in receptionand first floor near router,i moved rooms 3 times to get working wifi,tv is normal cable only no English channels,spacious rooms (I had the suite)had a bath... More

The Bayun Sulu is a very good, budget hotel. It is by no means a multi-star, American style hotel., but if you are accustomed to staying in pensions and other budget places, you should be more than satisfied. This is the worst hotel i think I have stayed in. No-one speaks english except for a woman who works for 3-4 hours per day..outside of this..bedlam for guests. The breakfast was suspect, stale and not fresh in any regard. We knew something was up when people were renting the hotel by the hour!! and alot of women came and... More

It was my first stay in Astana, so I didnt know what to expect. Unfortunately the staff, although appearing friendly, does not speak English (except for the manager). The room (single) was small and smelly. There was enough hot water. Wifi is included. They charge quite a lot for cleaning the clothes, but at least they were able to lower... More
