We stayed twice at the Kabiki when traveling in Cambodia. It is a 3 star hotel, neat and tidy, in a great position with nice staff. The rooms are small and have a small safe, AC, overhead fan, free wifi etc. The hotel has a nice pool--not heated and yes the water was cold--not too cold for kids though. The... More

we enjoyed our stay at kabiki. rooms were large, clean, quiet and well kept. restaurant served good breakfasts and very good meal quality. service was friendly and quick. however, i think the accommodation costs were inflated at nearly US 100 dollars a night. perhaps the good trip advisor reviews have given the hotel carte blanche to charge what they like.... We arrived at Kabiki and welcomed with beautiful fresh juices and Asian sweet. The hotel is in quiet area and really safe place, there is security post there so no cars or tuk tuk allowed to enter. The area is great, very shady with trees, fruit trees and flowers. We stayed here for two nights at ground floor, the room is big... More

My husband found this hotel as we have a 11 month old and the sister Plantation hotel is not child friendly. They were truly accommodating of my son, setting up a crib. Mosquito nets around beds a must and provided as they are surrounded by gardens. Friendly and helpful staff. Only problem was the one receptionist made a mistake with... More

Contrary to a lot of the reviews on TripAdvisor, I found my stay at the Kabiki extremely unsatisfactory. For a start, the photos on their website are very carefully taken to portray it in the best possible manner (which you can't really blame them for) but in reality it's quite run-down and desperately in need of a revamp. The pool... More

We stayed here for our first 3 nights in cambodia. After nearly 24 hours of travelling we were taken to a wonderful upstairs room, together with petals spread over our bed (it was our honeymoon). The room was very large with big comfy beds. The Breakfast was fab with home made bread and a choice of eggs etc It really... More

The Kabiki was a great hotel to spend a couple of nights. Very quiet location right near the Prime Ministers residence which means security is high (guard posts are at each end of the lane) and cars aren't allowed to the entry to the hotel. But it's just a short walk from the end of the street and i liked... More

Cambodia’s The Kabiki hotel is a must when visiting the country. It’s a traveler’s paradise because of its peaceful nature. The rooms were divine, especially the transparent cloth that embraced the ceiling of the beds. I was checked into the deluxe double room with its own terrace because I wanted to relax while lighting cigs and finishing up with work,... More

I searched about this hotel on internet. Actually I was looking for a hotel that could provide facilities to me and all the other family members. I have a family of four. We came with our 3 young and noisy children to spend 3 nights at Kabiki. Never felt so welcome before. The garden is amazing and there is plenty of space for the kids. Pool is great. Room was huge with bunk bed (perfect for a big family). We loved everything but this is all about the staff. You really feel... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
After opening our famous Pavilion boutique hotel, we realised, as people with family ourselves, that Phnom Penh needed a resort that was family orientated and child friendly. The historic colonial house we found on Oknha Peich Street with its 3500m2 of surrounding land was perfect. Caring, friendly staff, lots of nature for children to explore, the Kabiki is a place to relax, take a swim and lounge in the sun between days exploring Phnom Penh and the nearby attractions of the Royal Palace, Wat Botum and the riverside. We planted over 500 native trees, many of which we've placed name tags on so you can identify them yourselves. ... more   less
