The staff were friendly and helpful and as has been said before it is very close to the central market and not far to the main attractions on a Tuk Tuk which are very cheap.

Depends on what you mean by guest friendly... Staff are very guest friendly, the bell boys couldn't do enough for us and reception were highly helpful. The rooms were clean and the air conditioning did work well but they are smokers rooms (or at least the one I was in was) so they smelt like stale cigarettes but you get used to it quickly and don't notice it too much
