Brought 11 Hampshire Scouts here as part of our Cambodia Expedition. Firstly on arrival despite showing our online booking form they had no record of our booking. The rooms they provided us were ok but not great - below average I would say; comparing them to other hotels we have stayed in for the same price. The beds all had...

Cheap is what you get with this place. Don't get me wrong, it's not a bad place, but neither is it a great place. Sandwiched between several huge construction projects the place is dominated by construction noices and enourmous amount of dust. The smell outside in the restaurant is occassionally really bad, which forced us to eat in our room....

Considering the extortionate hotel prices in Phnom Penh - tried and tested (initially recommended to me by a friend working in a boutique hotel in PP - I had asked her for the best price/quality option a year ago already) this is a very good deal: 12 dollars a night for a clean room with double bed (good matress) Air...

The guesthouse is cheap room rate, large room with aircon and clean. But it is quite not in center. Not entertainment and not food venders near around guesthouse but they have an available food menu in guesthouse. You can take 10 minutes walk to S 21 and you must catch tuk tuk if you want to go somewhere. It is...

My last days in Cambodia, I spent a week at Homeland Guesthouse. I did not expect much given the price. It was sort of clean, friendly staff (almost all Khmers are genuinely nice people) and the room was fine. So, for the price you pay, it is a good deal you get in return - perfect for frugal and extremely...

Great Value Guesthouse nearest S21 Prison Museum! Guesthouse is cleaned, room nice and comfort, pleasure and helping staff. It's located near Toul Sleng Museum, it's genocide museum; just walk 2 minutes walk. Room price is value, just spend 15$/night, we get air-con and big space room. Restaurant is fine with local and western food. I recommend this guesthouse to all...

Okay, so first things first: this is a budget guesthouse, so keep that in mind. When you're paying 8$ a night for a double ensuite room, you can't really expect the Hilton, amirite? That being said, I have to say this was a great stay. I've been travelling throughout SE Asia on a budget for the last 3 months, and...

So, the title tells the whole truth. The only positive thing is the position, the rest of things: room, cleanness, bathroom, air con, bed...In mean, the worst hotel I've ever been in my life. Pics are retouched for sure... Ah, I had asked for and already paid for an "air con"'s room but when arrived so there wasn't any air...

For a cheap place, Homeland is great. The room was spacious and lighter than it looked in the photo. The owner was very kind and the restaurant really was a high point. Delicious food and a lot of variety. Suprisingly the burgers were great! Unfortunately that meant we didn't go out as much as we should have as unless we'd...
