The manager of the hotel was very helpful. The room was clean; however, the air conditioner was almost non-functional. Phnom Penh is a very hot & humid city; we had to have the ceiling fan on level 5 in order to keep the room tepid. The a/c was on; however, you would never know it...cold air never made it very...

This hotel felt like an oasis in a busy city. Comfortable room, with air con and a walk in shower. Great choices for breakfast. And also a really good menu for food at the restaurant. All at a very reasonable price.

We travelled with our kids of 16, 12 and 6 years old. The service was great and the rooms are very clean and complete. The owners did everything to make our stay very pleasant. The food of the restaurant was very good. We like our good wine and food and I can say that we had good lunches and dinners...

I stayed for a night here as it was close to the raffles hotel which I was heading to for a wedding. Really enjoyed my stay here. Loved how clean and modern the toilets were in the room, that's always a big quality gauge for me. Loved the decor too, wooden doors that gave it the spa feel. Nice pool...

Our agency booked this hotel for us, and it was perfect! Exactly as we had asked: small boutique hotel, with a pool, nice atmosphere and great service. We had great communicating rooms with a terrace for both. The set-up is really amazing with the patio and the restaurant by the pool. We ate there upon our arrival and it was...

Small boutique hotel in busy area. Nice ambiance, feels relaxed and homey. Quirky decor. Reasonable rates include a choice of set breakfasts. Food was good but coffee tasted instant and not hot. The air conditioning seemed to work, but the room configuration wasn't designed to get good air flow to the bed. The hotel charges a banking charge for accepting...

Very clean and comfortable. This low rise boutique is perfect for any visitor. Relaxing around the pool is just that.... relaxing. The rooms are large and have aircon and fans. Located well. Really a tuk tuk to anywhere is close. The bar is very relaxing and great to unwind. The front desk are very helpful and willing to share the...

The room is very spacious. It has nice wooden doors to the bathroom. It is a stylish and functional room. It has large glass windows and a balcony. Nice bed (not too soft, not too hard). Nice and comfortable lighting. It has a small desk with good lighting, so good for working as well. Has a lot of storage place,...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Sangkum is a boutique hotel conveniently located in a residential area which used to be the old french colonial heart of Phnom Penh during the protectorate. A quiet area close to Wat Phnom, the French embassy and Calmette hospital. Main touristic attractions are within 5 minutes drive by tuk tuk. The villa is inspired from the Sangkum era. We have 12 spacious and comfortable rooms, with a luxurious garden and a swimming pool perfectly spotted to cool down after a tough working day or a sightseeingtrip in the heat of Phnom Penh. Out of sight from the street, the garden and the swimming pool offer you a private and calm area. The restaurant is entirely outdoor and is directly linked with the garden, the patio and its bar, creating a large and cool open space. Our dedicated staff will take care of all your needs and make your stay an unforgettable moment during your trip in Cambodia. ... more   less
