This is part of my 12 day Vietnam and Cambodia tour. The hotel are booked by the travel agent. I have to be honest, this is the lowest ranked among the hotels I stayed on this trip. The hotel location is acceptable as it is at the edge of the river and has a nice river view. It is within...

The room seemed a little dated and sterile for the price (we are in Cambodia, people) but over all it was good stay. Good location on the river and it had a nice pool. The highlite was they had an awesome band playing in the bar, playing covers of popular American songs that were probably better than the original artist....

We stayed a couple of nights in the hotel in December 2011. Reports on TripAdvisor had left me feeling unenthusiastic, but the hotel exceeded my expectations. First - the staff couldn't have been nicer. Really pleasant people. Second - the food was nourishing and plentiful. Third - the hotel was clean (but see below). Fourth - the view from our...

This is a very confusing hotel, large grand , lovely foyer, bars, pool and exterior BUT dreadful rooms, in desperate need of renovation, with bubbling plaster on the wall, shabby furniture and a truly disgusting bathroom with cracked tiles, some badly replaced with mismatched but worse, splintered door, black mould on all tiles, cigarette burns on basin area (no smoking...

The facilities are OK, albeit not luxurious. Nice but expensive pool area, standard asian focused breakfast, great gym. However, the service attitude of the hotel management is abysmal. We needed to confirm another hotel reservation online and paid USD 3 for using a computer for ten minutes, which incidentally is outrageously much. Turns out they haven't upgraded the browser software...

This is a large 4* hotel beside the Mekong River. Try to get a room on the river side. However, the location is not the best if you like walking to local amenities. Basically there is very little close to the hotel and you need a tuk tuk to get to any descent outside restaurants, massage, etc. The room is...

This hotel is decent and reasonable value for money. I have stayed twice within the last 6 months. This hotel is somewhat dilapidated. Its in serious need of some money to be spent, to retain its level, which is probably also why Sofitel chose to build a new hotel close by, and abandon this location / these buildings. The price...

We have been there for 4 days for Christmas. Big hotel on the river Mekong, just a nice walk along the river from the city. Large and clean room, excellent breakfast. Staff very client oriented and caring. Lovely and cousy swimming-pool. No free wi-fi. Far from the city and tuk tuk noise. Definitely a hotel to suggest.

I spent one week at the Cambodiana and whilst the hotel is comfortable, in a good location and has the usual amenities it is very old and in need of some repairs and modernisation. The staff were very good however the breakfast buffet is shabby and the quality of the food is poor.

My 2 daughters and I stayed at the Cambodiana two weeks ago, and i found it a most comfortable hotel. The rooms were clean and pleasant, though a little outdated. I had a room with a view of the river, which was great. The breakfasts were top class, and the staff friendly and helpful. The location was great.

“If you stay here - get a room with a river view.”
  • Pretty unclean.
  • You be the judge what that stain is - I just never sat on or put anything on that chair.
  • A stain on the chair that looks suspiciously like it might have been made by sitting on it naked
  • Damaged counter - the furniture is pretty worn out.
