Fun environment on top of the fifth level of a hotel. Waiters wear bright colored striped shirts and greet you with bright smiles. Interesting drinks to choose from. The tables face a colorful bar as a backdrop. You will find some western selections along side dishes native to Cambodia. Good food ,good service, and reasonable prices. It's fun to be...

The hotel is in a great location within walking distance of most of the Phnom Penh's main attractions and lots of excellent restaurants. The Shanghai suite which we stayed in was not only distinctive and elegant but very comfortable and quiet. The rooftop bar is spectacular!

After what seemed like an age stuck in PP rush hour traffic walking into reception is like pure serenity compared to the madness which surrounds! Our room was "in the mood for love" which was on the third floor. As many other reviewers have mentioned, the size of the apartments are huge. This room had a kitchen area, seating/lounge area...

Got a great deal on Agoda and booked a 2 bedroom apartment and boy was it large, could easily fit 20 or people, just the sofa can easily sit 10 people. Requested a room on the higher floors but when checking in realised got a room on the 1st floor, was worried that the noise from the street below would...

I stayed in the "Midnight in Paris" room for 5 amazing days. The room was one of the most beautifully and tastefully designed hotel rooms I've ever stayed in. Actually, it's not even a room but a full sized suite (they label it as "Deluxe Room", but it's much more than that). On top of the design, the suite offers...

A slightly quirky boutique hotel with simple rooms and a nice rooftop restaurant/bar with a lovely cooling wind and great views, La Maison d'Ambre provided a comfortable stay in a busy city, but nothing more. Service was adequate, amenities were minimal, the rooms, while spacious, were slightly on the empty side, and design was slightly off with an open bathroom...

Restaurants and original accommodation come and go in Phnom Penh. La Maison D'Ambre stayed and continued to be among the best places in Phnom Penh for an early evening chill out or a dinner with friends. The rooftop terrace is so relaxing with friendly staff. Even if you are on a budget, their cocktails are good and affordable and come...

Our vacation was to go to Siem Reap to see Angkor Wat but we've chosen to stop by in Phnom Penh for a couple of nights. This is an upcoming city and it's being developed. Tuk Tuks are everywhere and the best "Mean" of transportation as everywhere we went from this hotel, it was within US$1-2. This boutique hotel is...

We spent a week end in Phnom Penh, and many people advise us to try la maison d'Ambre. Our arrival was beyond our expectation. If the reception area has nothing special, when you enter in your rooms, you understand you did a very smart choice. Everything is decorated with taste, and rooms have all a different style. We took two...

Perfect experience for travellers who wish something different... If you have time just ask the staff to show all rooms, it could be a nice inspiration for home! We enjoyed rooftop restaurant as our 2 daughters had space for playing and enjoy western food while we tried Khmer dishes.
