Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Monument Hotel, situated in a central quiet location within walking distance of the Monument and a 10-15 min walk to the riverside. The hotel receptionist July was fantastic, spoke very good English and was always at our service. We had a wonderful time in Phnom Penh and would highly recommend this hotel, we will...

I have stayed here a few times now. It is my favourite hotel for the price and staff are exceptional. The pool is always clean and being saltwater instead of chlorine makes it enjoyable to swim in. The view from the roof is a great place to start the day, Serving breakfast, sitting at the windows looking out onto PP....

We stayed here on and off for two weeks as we were visiting our daughter who lives in Phnom Penh. We had a really nice room with a balcony overlooking the pool. The room was good value for money but the best of all was the very nice staff! Always friendly, always helpful with everything! Hopefully we´ll come back next...

We stayed here for 2 nights in July and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was our first stay in Cambodia and the staff were very helpful with information. Our room was on the ground floor which was great because there is no lift. There is a small pool out the front which is very clean. The room was fine and...

We stayed here for two nights, and had a room on the first floor overlooking te pool. The room was huge, comfy bed, good sized ensuite and good AC. Breakfast was very nice, bit of a hike up to the top floor. The pool was really good, very clean. We donated to the charity they have set up at reception...

I decided to stay at the monument hotel because of the good reviews I saw on Tripadvisor and I was not disappointed. When I arrived at Phnom Penh airport, I was looking for a tuktuk to bring us to the hotel and no one knew the Monument hotel (I might admit it scared me a bit). When finally we got...

Hi RosalieQC, First of all thanks for staying with us and then for writing such an encouraging review about us means a lot. A lot of tuktuk drivers are on other hotels' payroll or commissions so many of them discourage guests from going to other possibly better hotels. I am glad you came and stayed with us. We know we...

Really lovely staff who went out of their way to welcome us and answer any questions and queries we had, the reception staff can't be faulted! It is also the comfiest bed I have slept in.. Although, after reading reviews we really were expecting an outstanding stay and it didn't succeed in fulfilling this. Our room directly over looked a...

Dear ManchesterJ b, Thanks for reviewing our hotel. We are sorry your stay was not upto your expectations. We are however glad that you do admit that the beds were the comfiest you had slept it. Regarding the drilling sound, that was from our neighbors and outside our premises we have little control over things. Secondly if a hotel has...

The most i appreciate is the staff (i forget ask his name) services, he is so nice and helpful. The second is the breakfast, good environment (can view the neighbourhood) and tasty food. However, i still think the hotel is overrated. (1) The WiFi got problems, we can't use consistently, always got problem. (2) Early morning (before 6 am) do...

I stayed at the Monument Hotel with a group of Canadians who had travelled to Cambodia to do volunteer project work. A friendly hotel with charm and character. The aroma of lemon grass oil together with tastefully decorated rooms which are comfortable and atmospheric make this a good hotel to stay in.
