My husband and I have lived in Texas for more than a decade, so when we saw the name of this place we knew we had to come stay here. And what a great decision. The place is fantastic - a really lovely bar downstairs - with lots of Texas memorabilia, and an awesome menu for when you need a...

This place has 4 huge rooms and a saloon/bar downstairs. Rooms were quite clean and beds were comfy. Don't hesitate trying one of their amazing breakfasts - omelettes are probably made of 5 eggs with cheese, onions, bacon, chili etc, served with toasts, butter and jam. We didn't need lunch after those plates. Lone Star has also a designated tuk-tuk...

First trip to Phnom Penh and the Lone Star Saloon. This Bar and Guest House had some of the best Ribs and BBQ that I have ever put in my mouth. The Cambodian menu and American breakfast was delicious as well. An extremely clean facility and the staff was friendly, fast, helpful and always serving you with a smile on...

We stayed 5 nights and had the large room on the top floor. $30 night no breakfast. A/C only just coped with the large room. Shower area in need of maintenance. Very quiet location, excellent food and large portions. Girls behind bar very friendly, always a smile. Lots of single male ex pats frequent the bar. Overall an enjoyable stay

Hello, Thank you so much for taking the time to write a review. After receiving your input, I spent a night in the room. The air con is not working properly. It should be cold enough that you want to turn it off after a couple of hours. I am having it serviced this morning, and have taken steps to...

We just returned to the states after a visit to Cambodia & I couldn't resist posting a rave review about this place. The Lone Star Saloon is the true definition of a family run business. The food is incredible. Greg, the owner & his extended family/staff made us feel so at home here. They will honestly go out of their...

I have become a regular at the Lone Star for the food, Greg the owner is ex Texas, and he does excellent BBQ and many other offerings in the vein of Tex Mex & Southern food. I have had NZ Venison smoked in a real USA made smoker, they have 2 in operation daily. I will post more pics -...

I got delux room for $30... it could easily be 3 rooms its ridiculous! Nice big flat screen tv with good channels, comfy enough bed[s] and a nice balcony. Wifi which was good .. as the previous reviewer stated i also had trouble with a router or 2 going out of action for periods of time but there are 3-4...

The room was enormous - felt more like an apartment than a normal room. Our room was on the first floor. Room 02 if I remember correctly. The room was well equipped with all necessities including a brand new LCD flat screen that plays DVD which was great for a lazy night in. The staff (especially the girls) were friendly...

Hello, Thank you very much for your visit and for taking the time to write a review. I apologize that the router on your floor was not working properly. It was my understanding that it stopped working in the evening......and then was again functioning properly. We have a router in the bar and additional routers placed on each floor. Usually,...

We found Lone Star through Tripadvisor. Srey was quick to respond to emails, and organised a pick up from the bus station. We booked the large deluxe room, with balcony, for $30 a night, without breakfast. The room was at the top of a few flights of stairs, with entrance with a sink and fridge. The rooms are pretty much...

I ended up staying in this place after the initial place gave away a room I reserved and offered a different one at, you guessed, higher price. I called the Lone Star and confirmed room availability and price and took a tuk tuk to their location. The owner seemed a bit surprised with my arrival and mentioned that no single...

Thank you for taking time to write a review of the Lone Star. I apologize for the confusion regarding your booking, but I can absolutely assure you that there is no bait and switch involved. The difference in price between our standard and deluxe rooms is 5.00...........and it make no difference to me whatsoever which room people prefer. I am...
