We are sitting in this superb roof bar enjoying the generous happy hours where everything is 2 4 1. The vantage point offers a view of the confluence of the 4 major PP rivers. Drinks are high quality and the service is attentive, a great spot for sunset drinks and good food. Highly recommended.

The one thing you expect from a small boutique hotel is a high level of service and attention to detail- this hotel only has 14 bedrooms so should be able to deliver on this. Unfortunately there has been little in the way of investment in this hotel in any number of years. Consequently it is frought with basic infrastructure problems such as air conditioning that doesn’t work, fans that are barely hanging on the ceiling, filthy walls and broken light fittings. The staff try as much as they are able but they are clearly fighting a losing battle, which reflects in their demeanour- having no doubt been ground down by constant complaints. We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights here’s a day by day account of what happened along with some pictures for context. Day 1 - arrived and went to room - it was filthy the air conditioner wasn’t working so we immediately asked for a different room - were told the hotel was full but could move next day. There were only two small pillows on the bed so we asked for more , they said they had no more - a hotel with no spare pillows !!!!!! Day 2 expecting a new room as promised having not slept due to sweat box of a room - they said there were no rooms available as they promised the day before. That night the room was so hot that In desperation we asked , at 4 am having not slept for nearly 48 hours, that they do something- suddenly a room was available AT 4 IN THE MORNING!!!! Clearly they were not telling the truth earlier. Day 3 - we got moved to a larger room at the front of the hotel- At last something bordering on a normal level of hotel room. Day 4- the air con starts to leak into the room making a constant loud drip Day 5 - we leave. Feeling like we’ve been held in captivity looking like a wrung out doll due to lack of sleep . The moral here - if it doesn’t close for a full refurb and change of direction then stay here at you peril!!!

Very disappointed that the infrastructure of this hotel seems to be deteriorating. While location is excellent, and staff courteous, our experience with the facility itself was terrible. Stuck in elevator on two occasions, more than one trip to front desk when electronic keys failed, leaking ceiling air conditioner flooded the room overnight making it uninhabitable. New room electronic door malfunctioned and key would not work until locksmith fixed...and of course he didn't work on Sunday's. It's a shame that the new remote owners since our last stay have let a very good hotel become unacceptable.

We didn't stay here but I really want to review the rooftop bar as it has amazing views and beautiful food. We happened upon this place having just got off a river cruise and looking for somewhere to eat. Everything along the waterfront was very crowded but we randomly came across this place and as stated in another review it had no obvious signage and the lobby looked like a demo site but we took the lift up to the top anyway. We were very pleased we did as the views were fantastic and we were the only people there. The food was extremely reasonably priced and delicious. Service was faultless. If we had been staying another night we would have gone back again. Highly recommend this place.

We visited in Sept 2019 and the whole lobby was under renovation. There were no signs on the outside and the taxi had no idea where to stop us. We walked into the hotel and the lobby was so messy, with construction everywhere. There was only one staff at the desk when we checked in early, and then when we checked in to go into the room. They were understaffed so we ended up having to carry our bags up on our own. The room was huge and I loved the walkway, but many of their cupboards and furniture and the outside balcony were a little run down and messy, which was a little disappointing considering we paid so much for the room. I would say however that the staff we met when we checked out was very friendly. And the breakfast was AMAZING - you order in advance and have them delivered to your room so you can enjoy the views while you eat. It's not the best hotel but I still loved my stay regardless. (renovation works at the lobby are ongoing till the end of september 2019 as we were told!)
