While the staff here are pleasant and friendly, the rooms are very basic and extremely overpriced for what you get. The bathroom had clearly not been cleaned and the toilet did not flush. There was cigarette buts on the floor and a small bottle of white powder in the bathroom. AVOID THIS HOTEL unless there is no other option.

Be extremely choosing this hostel because I even saw rats running outside the window! I became so scared that I couldn't sleep the whole night. It seems that if you open the window in the evening, rats will sneak into your room and find sth to eat.

It's the cheapest guesthouse we could find around Bandar Seri begawan. Location is nice as it is a few meters away from the bus station. Rooms are big but very old. Everything else were basic, but we didnt really mind as were outside most of the time and we were just there to spend the night No complimentary breakfast. No...

The Youth Hostel was closed when I arrived and the cheapest rest house in BSB was KH Soon. They charged me 35 Brunei dollars for a night. It was the most expensive place I stayed in 6 months travelling around Asia, specially when it comes to cost/benefit. Just for comparison, the hostel charges 10B dollar - AC room. Pros: Central...

If you're on a budget and want to see BSB then this is a perfect location. Just a block from the bus station and two blocks from the waterfront, it's easy to find, located near to places to eat and well, just downtown. There are private rooms with bathroom (double plus single bed) for B$50, private rooms with shared bathrooms...

Me and my boyfriend chose this place because it was the cheapest we could find. Traveling around Borneo had made us accustomed to Malaysian prices and our stay in Brunei was a bit more pricey. The rooms are decent, the beds are ok and the bathrooms usually flush but it Is definitely of a much lower standard then similar price...

Good budget option in a central location. Very close to the bus station and museum. Not the nicest. But the rooms are decent and pretty huge. Bathrooms are not the nicest but it is what it is. Most other options are expensive

Cheap for Bandar, the rooms are clean and dry. The beds were good, pillows were the foam type though. the toilets , which were communal, were squat types- all of them, and maybe not dirty but very dilapidated and stainy. you know the type. probably your only town centre option after the youth centre- which is where we wanted to...

the first day I arrived to the hostel and asked if they have dorm and the lady said no, so that I paid for the single room but on the second day I found they have the dorm and I asked the boss (man) if possible to change and he said no! And yelling to me and said (if you...

We of course stopped by a cheaper hostel (at the youth center) but it was "closed to the public" while we were there. This was our only other option for a "cheap" place. It was 40B$ for a twin privet room (2 people). Expensive given the fact that we had to share bathrooms and had bed bugs in the bed,...
