POSITIVES Very close to the city - about a 1km walk Very nicely kept room with king sized bed Clean pool Next door (or perhaps affiliated with the hotel) was a DELICIOUS restaurant where I discovered a love of 'sos chili' - which I suggest you try! NEGATIVES Surrounding grounds were unkept and overgrown, add in no footpaths and the...

We were attracted by the hotel's facilities (which includes fitness centre and Internet) but alas, when we were checked in to our room, we found out that Internet connection is totally not possible. We asked for change of room which were happily done by the housekeeping, but you guessed it right. Even by changing to another room, Internet connection is...

Had a one day business meeting in Brunei at the university and stayed at the Palm Garden Hotel. Rooms are pretty shabby and poorly lit, showers were slightly dirty. The staff were super nice, as the hotel was on the outskirts, there were no 7/11s or mini marts open, but the receptionist was kind enough to take me in the...

I've never been to the hotel here. But I would say the gym here is sick! It's by far the best setup you could ever get anywhere in Brunei. It's awesome and it's worth your buck! Just make sure you got enough rest before hitting here. There's regular classes to attend and they're awesome! Drop by when you guys can!...

A good mid-range hotel. Large room, comfortable beds, good quality bathroom. Staff were lovely. Breakfast was included at the 'healthy' cafe next door, as was access to the excellent large gym. Airport transfers were also included. Location is convenient if you need to be near the Kiulap shop houses or Jame' Asr Mosque, but not particularly good for tourists as...
