The rooms and bathrooms are not cleaned on a daily basis. The bed sheets and towels are changed every 3 days. The breakfast is horrid starting from the bread . Baku is a lovely city and very pleasant for summer visits but this is no hotel , it is sooooo sub- standard. It is degrading to stay there. I shall...

I stayed at Avand Hotel with friends. For a double room we payed around 80$ per person for 3 nights which is quite a good deal for otherwise expensive Baku. So of course the expectations must be limited to what you pay for. The staff was nice and the free transport from the airport was a real treat. We payed...

My hot water didn´t work and they quickly fixed it while I was away. -...

I stayed in this hotel in May 2013. Good points: The staff were excellent. Really friendly and eager to improve their English skills as well as appreciate any attempt to speak Azeri. Superb breakfast each day with plenty of local Çay! Good location with a short 10-15 minute walk to the railway and metro stations. Good quality room. Bad points:...

Hotel stuff tried to help us with this issue, to restart routers and call to provider, but only for short time it got better. I think, bad quallity of internet is...

Overall the hotel is good - good location (about 15-20 mins by feet from the city center), quite district, very helpful staff, wi-fi works perfectly and is free, room is cleaned only upon permission from a guest and linen is changed once in two days (not the towels though), guests may order tea to a room almost 24h.
