If you want to have a great stay in Nha Trang, we definitely recommend the Nha Trang Marriott Hon Tre! Located on the beautiful coastline of Vietnam, the ultimate relaxing resort experience awaits.
1. The best location The hotel is about a 40-minute drive from the airport to the luxury ferry terminal, and less than 10 minutes from the city. Check in at the ferry terminal and then take the free private ferry or gondola to the terminal on Hon Tre Island where the hotel is located. It is a great base for travel as it offers easy access to the tourist attractions while enjoying the sea views. It was very convenient to relax on the beach and then immediately return to the hotel to relax.
2. Room Quality The rooms are very spacious and sophisticated in classic style. It was great to see the sunrise and sunset, especially from the room on the sea side, where you can enjoy the amazing ocean view. The bed was comfortable and I slept well after a long flight.
3. Outstanding service The staff have been really helpful and have been quick to respond to even the smallest requests. From check-in to check-out, they provided a pleasant service and I never felt inconvenienced during my stay.
4. The food is great The breakfast buffet was full of variety, with fresh fruits and delicious Vietnamese food. And when we had lunch in the hotel's in-room dining room, all the food was delicious, especially the beef fried dry.
5. The best beach and pool The beach in the hotel is clear, shallow and the waves are calm, so young children can swim with peace of mind. The outdoor pool is so big that you can afford to be crowded. It was reserved especially during the day.
Review: Nha Trang Marriott Hon Tre is a fantastic hotel that offers everything you need for your resort stay. This is a great place for those who want to enjoy the sea or just relax. When I came to Vietnam, it was a place I would love to stay again.

I was in this hotel at the beginning of April, the hotel representatives greeted us very friendly, although we were very tired, they lifted our spirits, treated us and told us briefly about the hotel. My room overlooked the garden, everything was clean, a compliment from the hotel in the form of fruit was waiting for us on the table, in the evenings I read a book on the balcony and just enjoyed it, and what a snow-white and crisp blanket it was, just a fairy tale. I also liked the pool, it’s always clean and there aren’t many people there, which is also nice. There is a separate pool for those living in the villas the hotel starts in May all inclusive halal The sea is nearby, the length of the beach is quite long, as I like to walk along the beach in the morning, the water is clear, the sand is snow-white, there are enough sun loungers with umbrellas. The food in the restaurant is very varied, freshly squeezed juices, soups, eggs, fish, cheeses of various types, sweets, yoghurts and much more. Honestly, I’ve been to a lot of places and have something to compare with. The contingent of vacationers varied, there were several couples from CIS countries A couple of months ago there were changes here, the management of the hotel is from Holland and they are doing their best to establish and exceed all expectations and the status of the Marriott hotel, which is very pleasing. I also want to say thanks to Frankie, he helped me in all matters I wish you more grateful tourists and prosperity!!!

Marriott Lounge: Clean and airy. The lobby brings a bit of Eastern style through window decoration and mixed in with a bit of Western style through table and chair decoration as well as the type of table and chair. The lobby staff is very enthusiastic and welcomes customers, bringing water every time they arrive. The restroom is very clean, fragrant, and has disposable hand towels. Outside the lobby, many coconut trees are planted so that visitors can live virtually, as well as to create a cool atmosphere. View facing the sea, can see boats passing by. There is free wifi. Far from the airport so it will be a bit inconvenient Move: Going from the lounge to the villa or hotel is by boat. This type of transportation is unique, especially at beach resorts, but the waiting time is a bit long. If you move inside and around the Vinpearl area, there will be someone to drop you off and pick you up. Inside the Villa: Inside the Villa there will be no food, only drinks, no fruit or anything to offer guests. There is a small kitchen, there are no dishes inside. The room is spacious and clean, especially the living room with a red Western sofa design. The restroom is also very clean. Outside there is a small garden and a small swimming pool. If you look at it during the day, it looks normal, but at night it looks very scary, like deserted. The view doesn't look out to anything, causing visitors to have a somewhat disappointing experience with the Villa.

Beautiful place, but... 1. Inhabited us initially in such a wilderness on this island, which is a 20-minute drive, and you can not even think about walking to the sea. The swimming pool was covered in grass when we settled in. They paid extra and moved to the first line, but when they went to the beach they saw just a dump of garbage. Dead fish, bags, bottles, some food waste and sunshine, but getting into that sea is just a wish gone. The shore is only cleaned in the morning, and nobody cares about the garbage that washed up on the shore during the day. 2. You will not be allowed to walk further than your hotel, you can walk on the beach only along the hotel - further you will simply not be allowed. We decided to see the location of other villas in this hotel, so we were told that they would only take us to our room and not going to take us to the very last villa on the island by this hotel - where we were originally settled, and to go there for at least 40 minutes uphill and we wanted to just walk, as there is nothing to do here at all. In general, the rest here is - from the room to the restaurant and if there is no wind and there is sun (now there is none) then the beach and one swimming pool. 3. Breakfast is one meal every day. Gets bored in two days. Now there are only two restaurants open and there is a constant queue in the main building. We go to Windy. 4. Sauna - if you decide to go there as a family and sign up in advance, then men separately, women separately and children under 12 will not be allowed there. Eventually, the sauna was turned on only when we got there and in an hour it warmed up to 45 degrees. Just wasting my time. 5. If you call the front desk and want to go to the lobby for example, you will be asked 10 times - you need to go there, why you need to go there, who else will be with you. Interrogations like this are just annoying. 6. The room service - the skin that came off me three days ago - is still on the floor. I think that's an indicator of the quality of the cleaning. 7. There's nothing to do on this island. An amusement park is a one-time thing. There's a one-hour minimum line everywhere. As a result, if you want to have time to inspect and swim in the water park, then 100% you will not succeed. 8. There's no heating by the pools and in the weather that's on the island right now, which is strong winds and clouds constant, water degrees 20. For walruses, it may be good, but for those who have come to warm up, it's a total waste of time. 9. And I think it's very revealing that they make cotton candy right at the entrance to the main building, so even it pays. This is the first 5-star hotel I've ever seen this in))
No vacation on the island. Most of the time they left the island for the city.

We stayed for 2 nights in the property. One has kto take a ferry ride or a cable car from Nha Trang to Hon Tre island. While the location is amazing and so is the pool, the property is not intimate. This property is meant for people with kids given the vin wonders amusement park in the island. the rooms have a Moscow hotel vibe (quite distinct from other luxury properties in Vietnam) and they are not that enthusiastic in making your experience a great one. It’s about handing over the pamphlet for the vinharbour and vinwonders park!
While dinner is served from 6.30 to 10 pm, good luck if you visit late, no one in the counters are interested to serve you. They just want to close the day.
The communication while booking the hotel is confusing. While you book they mention that they would have people in the airport to meet you, but there aren’t unless you book their car. While you highlight the confusion, instead of assisting the pax to reach the bay, the staff insists more on passing on the buck that we didn’t book.
In summary could have avoided this

The room is clean and furnished nicely. The daily cleaning service and laundry service have both been excellent. We are in a villa and they also do a very good job cleaning the pool on a daily basis. There are frequent buggies to take you to different parts of the property, so that is also very convenient.
We have had several issues since we arrived. First - we paid to upgrade to the all-inclusive package that included food, local beer, and soft drinks. After upgrading, we were told we could not use it at any of the restaurants in the main building. We could only order a la carts dishes on the Turkish menu at their Windy restaurant. We could also only order local beer, but the menu we were given at the Windy restaurant only had imported beers. We asked for and received a refund on the all-inclusive package on the second day. On the fifth day, friends staying at the hotel spoke to the manager and they were told that they could eat at restaurants in the main building - it seems like the staff is not aware of the policies. The package and its details ought to explained in detail and in writing on the website - especially if it’s part of your rate before booking.
Today we took our daughters to a foam party that was advertised for children at the hotel pool. The girls had fun, but several of the songs had profanity and explicit language in them. It was an odd choice for a kids party.
After the party, we purchased some food from the hotel market to take back to our villa. While the villa has a kitchen and refrigerator, you receive no cooking utensils, no plates, no bowls, and no cutlery. You only receive glasses and coffee mugs. My wife asked the desk for bowls and utensils and they said they could only give us 3 sets - if they gave us 4 they would have to charge us. After complaining on the bonvoy app they said it was a miscommunication and sent another bowl “as a goodwill gesture.” It seems crazy to spend this much money and get one bowl to eat from as a “goodwill gesture.”

Last April I stayed with my wife and 2 children (11 & 13) at the Nha Trang Marriott Resort & Spa. One important thing to note about the hotel is the distance and travel required from the Nha Trang international airport. You'll need a taxi to drive you to the reception area where the speedboats (or cable cars) depart. This is a 45mins drive. The speedboat takes another 10 minutes (+waiting time) and then you'll need a golf buggy to drive you to the actual resort (another 10 minutes). All this means that it feels you're a bit stuck on the island. The island has an attraction park but even if you stay at the hotel, you still have to pay admission for the park - I was wrongly under the impression that admission was complimentary. Marriott recently took over management of this resort from Vinpearl and it's clear in certain areas that the Marriott management is still trying to figure out how to make use of all the spaces in the hotel. Some restaurant areas (near the reception and the restaurant situated in a separate building) feel too open and not very inviting. When we were staying at the hotel, these restaurants were also almost deserted. Most people seem to prefer the buffet area where also the breakfast is served. We stayed at a 3-bedroom villa and the villa's are huge; definitely a big plus of the hotel; every bedroom came with a bathroom and the living room area was also very big. The villa also came with a private pool. The breakfast was very good. In fact, they served freshly made Banh Mi sandwiches and these were the best I tasted in Vietnam! We also liked the food offering next to the pool. The resort doesn't have any activities organized for the kids so that's something to take into account when you're looking for that. All in all, this was a good stay.

In general, everything liked, the holiday was a success. Special thanks for Halal restaurant Windy, Povora and all the employees of the restaurant great! Everything was delicious and varied enough. Special thanks for the pilaf👍🏻 Please change the north mats on the tables, they were very stained , which spoiled the overall impression of the whole restaurant. Didn't like drinking vodka by other tourists yet, which is completely against Halal concept 😔 I also wanted to thank Dilara, she helped throw a surprise birthday party for her daughter and ordered a fancy bouquet of flowers!
About the hotel, first we were given a villa with an exit on some swamp, from there smelled very mold. And in general in the view was very dirty, a layer of dust on the floor and all surfaces. We approached the reception and us for a separate surcharge, upgraded the villa with sea access! That was a great decision! We were given a great villa , before we moved in we made a full clining, it was just perfect👍🏻The seafront is a great wonder and indescribable beauty , wake up and fall asleep with this view! Special thanks to all hotel employees, at reception, buggy drivers, mobility administrators, cleaning was done every day and very high quality! Bed linen , towels changed every groom🌟All very high quality! Obotal air conditioning system is great👍🏻 We o Undoubtedly the pros are many more, very beautifully groomed grounds, water on the sea the most pleasant temperature

We took the Speed boat that is included in the price and in 7 minutes we were on the island.
On Saturday we went to Vinwonders, so what was already good got better, with new attractions, Flying Cinema,
which is sensational and Tata boat Ride, very good. On Sunday, we went to the SPA and like the other spas in the Vin chain, it was very good. The price of the massages alone is exorbitant.
As a negative point, we mention the restaurant that does not accept people who want to dine "la carte", it only serves the buffet. As an alternative, we had to dine at the bar, which is unpleasant, as the tables are very low and we have to hold the plate in our hands. It's hard to understand how a resort of this size doesn't have its own place for guests who want to dine à la carte. Another suggestion, place a portable clothes dryer on the balcony.

On my annual family vacation and we are a group of 13 staying in 2x3bed villas. Villas are up to scratch. Service is not the best and majority of the hotel Staff besides those at reception are very unfriendly and can’t even afford a guest a courtesy smile and I’d like to specifically point out the buggy drivers because they are probably the most in contact with guests in this resort. There are some staff that do try but like i said the problem is communication due to the lack of understanding. The buggy drivers driving leaves a lot to be desired especially with guests and kids running around. The level of understanding especially in English is almost non existent which is a travesty for an internationally renowned hotel and resort brand. Food though is the biggest nightmare if you require halal. Windy is supposed to be the only available restaurant onsite for this but they too are extremely questionable. With pork dishes spread between the majority of halal options during breakfast the contamination level is unavoidable which is completely unacceptable. The food procurement department seems to be permanently asleep. We went for our 2nd supper on our 2nd night out of our 7night stay and they were completely out of meat, chicken and potatoes. I think a relevant question would’ve been what they actually had available. The food and beverage manager seems to be on a permanent vacation in my opinion because it is criminal to run low of such items especially in what would be regarded as peak season internationally. All in all i feel that the value of service received thus far is not up to scratch in relation to the amount of money it cost me stay at this resort. I would gladly have spent much more to be somewhere I can receive better value and service. My advice is think thrice before considering this resort especially if you are expecting good service, being understood and require halal/kosher food.
