Booked 1 bedroom suite for 3 nights at this hotel in August. The check-in/out process is quick and easy. Staff at the reception is professional and speak very good English. The lobby is nice and big with many sitting areas. In fact, this hotel has so many available sitting areas across the hotel, and the seats are comfortable. The allocated room has a good partial ocean view. The room is over 40m2 and clean but has a musty smell. The dining table with 2 big chairs is a bit odd for a small space in the living room. Foods at breakfast are tasty with many choices, including Western options. Foods at the main dining restaurant are average and pricy. Staff at breakfast speak very little English and unfriendly. Lobby bar is ordinary, nothing special. There is Tiger beer on tap at this lobby bar but not working apparently, so one must go to level 6, the main dining restaurant, to order one. Daily cleaning is kind of hit and missed and substandard for a 5 star hotel. The location of this hotel is within walking distance of the beach on Tran Phu street and right next to good vietnamese coffee shops and a supermarket. Overall, this hotel is decent, and we have a comfortable stay, given a few small issues with the daily cleaning, but it is rectified immediately with satisfaction. Overall, this hotel is ok for short stay but nothing special in comparison with other Melia 5 star hotels we have stayed in Vietnam.

Beautiful luxury hotel, with great amenities and friendly helpful employees.
Location is super convenient and if you fancy going a bit further afield, you can hire a scooter for 150000 VD via the reception.
We were able to visit VinWonders for free just by staying at this hotel, we loved the theme park, not busy at all and so much variety.
The pool is beautiful and and rooms are very comfortable.

After 35 years of living abroad, on Tet 2024 I have the opportunity to return to visit my hometown of Nha Trang. We decided to choose Melia Nha Trang as the place to stay on this trip. My family and I arrived to check in at 14:00. When I arrived at Melia, I was overwhelmed by the forest of people, it was noisy and crowded, that's what I felt at that time. While I was struggling, a bellboy came to greet me with a smile and a sweaty face. Because it was Tet, there were too many customers, so we had to check in much later than announced, but in return that was due to the bellboy's concern. He helped keep my carrier, helped me check in and took us to the swimming pool to avoid the noise. I was actually surprised by his flexibility. We stayed in this hotel for three nights recently after reading very good reviews. This was the third Meliá Vinpearl property we have stayed in on the central Vietnam coast. We have stayed in deluxe, premium with views and suite rooms. The hotels were all comfortable however all had kitchenettes with empty cupboards and to be honest this space could be much better utilised. Little things like suitcase stands need to be requested. Fan switches are fitted back to front with ‘3’ being the slowest speed. The hotels have employed experience managers to ensure customers are happy however this should be happening “behind the scenes” and not “in your face”. It is extremely convenient having these hotels next door to Vincom Plaza’s so you can purchase water and alcohol at more affordable prices. Unfortunately, every bar fridge in every room we stayed in was barely cold. We’re not sure why you would bother to have a fridge if it isn’t cold? The staff all try very hard to be pleasant and this is lovely however sometimes can be a little invasive. The hotels are geared to Asian travellers and breakfast in particular reflects this. Their breakfasts are very good with an excellent choice of dishes and well set out. Overall, these are reasonably comfortable hotels for the price however they need some polishing around the edges to raise them to the next level.

Had room service and everything was amazing, arrived on time that you specify as well. Stayed at other places in the area, but wish I had just stayed here from the beginning. The hotel is massive, but very well kept. Plenty of lifts and efficient, other places I stayed in lifts were taking 10mins or more to arrive. Good views of the city, mountain and partial sea view from my room. Location may seem far from the beach, but it’s honestly like 6mins to walk there, plus it’s actually a really nice location especially at night with the lights and bars and coffee shops near by. Just don’t make the same mistake I made and stay somewhere else, just stay here.
