The experience at MGallery was always satisfying, but Hôtel des Arts Saigon was the best one. Combining French and Vietnamese culture, this artistic hotel is worth a visit, as you can see from its many award-winning career. The location is within walking distance of the main tourist attractions of the city centre, and you can reach Greap instantly in either direction, such as Buivien or Taodien. The Executive Studio Suite is beautiful and cosy. Cafe des Beaux, Saigon Kitchen, Sky Lounge and Albion serve unique coffee and great food, while Social Club Rooftop bar delivers an unforgettable Ho Chi Minh night with trendy music from 7dnight in Vietnam to Rose in Korea. The Infinity Pool on the same floor was often kept clean by water quality care. Above all, don't forget the friendly and professional staff. We would like to express our gratitude to the lobby manager who changed the Late check-out time several times due to the late return time, the lounge manager who helped to find the items left in the city café, and the concierge manager who gave an unexpected pleasure with the birthday celebration comment. Your beautiful postcards and fragrances are now in the decoration of my room. Thank you. Hôtel des Arts Saigon, see you next time!

The Des Arts is a very unassuming from the outside, in fact you really have to look hard to realise it’s a hotel behind the huge wooden doors at the entrance.
Once inside it oozes elegance, with its art and furniture.
Checkin was efficient and we were up in a room within 10minutes, serviced by three super fast lifts, one of which takes you for the 24th floor and the outside pool and social club bar.
The room was well appointed, electric plug points to take UK plugs and usb points.
There was a walk in shower as well as a full size tub / bath, the wash basin also had shaver points.
There was the usual hotel amenities, mini safe, iron, tea, coffee etc, including a nespresso machine, water was also provided in glass bottles and replaced each day.
The breakfast room is on the 2nd floor with a number of different food stations, serving both international and local cuisine. Tea and coffee served at your table.
The social club on the 24th floor also serves food all day from its bar snacks menu, a great place for evening drinks and to watch the sun go down, happy hour is between 4 & 7
The hotel is well placed for exploring the city, most sites are walkable including the shopping markets around 15 minutes.
The staff are really friendly and speak English pretty well.
Enjoyed our time there, but the traffic is crazy and gets to you after a while !!!.

Hotel des Arts Saigon made our honeymoon unforgettable! The hotel is stunning—luxurious and sophisticated yet intimate, striking the perfect balance. The rooftop bar is exceptional, offering breathtaking views and a fantastic vibe. We also appreciated the late-night menu, perfect for satisfying those midnight cravings.
Its central location makes it convenient for exploring the city, and the staff truly impressed us with their customer-first approach. When we had to delay our plans due to visa issues, they waived the penalty without any conditions. The staff was prompt in responding and extremely reassuring. It was a no-brainer when we were rebooking our trip that we had to stay with them.
A unique and thoughtful feature is the option for all guests to return and freshen up with a shower after check-out, which was perfect for our late flight. This is a hotel that’s confident in its excellence yet remains down-to-earth and customer-oriented. Highly recommend it for a seamless and memorable stay in Saigon!

The M Gallery at Ho Chi MInh City is a luxurious and well-located hotel. It is within 5 to 10 mins walk to historic places that one must visit while in HCM. It has all the features and beauty of a 5-star hotel. However, what sets it apart from the rest of the 5-star hotel is the hotel staff and the services provided. When I walked into the hotel and tried checking in, the duty manager at the front desk checked my passport and found out that I am a Platinum member and directed me to the executive lounge for the check-in. What impressed me was that in the few seconds she checked my passport, she remembered my name and address me by my name when I re-appeared in the lobby the next day.
The manager and staffs at the executive lounge are very helpful and attentive to the guest needs. Their service is excellent. An example is that they found out that I like green tea as I ordered it for breakfast and a few occasions. When I go to the lounge to relax and read my book, they would bring a pot of green tea without me even asking for it. The green tea is served in very beautiful china tea pot set.
When my hand-held shower head leaked during usage, I reported it via the housekeeping number. Within 10 mins, one of the housekeeping staffs who was doing her daily duties knocked on my door to investigate the issue. The next moment, she took out her mobile phone and took a photo of the problematic part. She told me that she is sending it to their maintenance team to change the shower head for me. While they were looking into this issue, I went to the lounge to relax. When I reached the lounge, I was surprised that the staff there knew about my problem and assured me that the issue is being resolved and apologies for the inconvenience. I was in the lounge for about an hour to read my book. When I returned to my room, the shower head was replaced and the room cleaned. This is what I call service excellence. The communication within the hotel team assured that any guest complaint is address immediately. I had come across hotels where guest complaint went into a black hole and the guest had to remind the front desk many times before the issue was addressed. To top off my experience on this issue, the Room Director got to know about it and sent a very nice BBQ Pork sandwich and 2 bottles of fresh watermelon juice the next day for the inconvenience caused. Excellent service!
The hotel has excellent buffet lunch and dinner, but my personal favourite is their Wagyu Beef Pho. It is the best beef pho I have ever had. It is even better than the Wagyu Beef Pho at the Sofitel Metropole in Hanoi (That is my favourite hotel in Hanoi). All the staffs at the Saigon Kitchen gave excellent service.
I will definitely be staying in M Gallery the next time I am in HCM.

This was my first return stay at this lovely centrally located Saigon Hotel since pre-Covid.
I booked into an Executive Studio Suite for two evenings (#1908 a corner suite) requesting a room away from as much evening noise as possible. The team looked after me to the best of their ability. Remembering the hotel is centrally located in a very busy city, the only noise to reach me was external music not related to the hotel, and this stopped around 10:30pm on both nights and should definitely not be seen as a fault of the hotel.
Staying in the Executive suite brought back many memories for me as it was in one of these that I last stayed. The suite is as I remembered, spacious, luxurious without being over the top (like The Reverie which is totally overdone as to be a little uncomfortable).
Basically, at Hôtel Des Arts Saigon they have found a perfect balance between stylish luxury and comfort. I love the “Indochine x Parisian” chic influenced decor. It actually does remind me of upmarket Paris hotel suites especially the corridor within the suite. There is a sense of space and lots of wonderful natural right coming in from two sides. The claw footed bathtub in the oversized bathroom is heavenly. All the bathroom amenities are by Chopard and feel luxurious. I liked the moisturiser so much that I bought a bottle from the hotel.
The suite is simply well designed and thought out with distinct areas. It feels like the perfect city pied-à-terre.
The executive lounge is tranquil and teamed by dedicated personnel. There are Macs available for use and many lovely art books and general books on Vietnam to look through. The cafe area off the lobby is also a lovely space full of comfortable furniture and lovely art work. Great place to have a snack or a coffee. The hotel itself is full of beautiful art top to bottom.
I only had breakfast on both days in the executive lounge which was tranquil and a delicious way to start the day. I also loved the inclusion of a jar of Vegemite for Australian guests. I had other plans on both nights and missed out on evening drinks. Next visit I plan to make use of the rooftop pool and eat at Albion.
A big thank you to the team at Hôtel Des Arts Saigon for looking after me.

Dear AnhArmaan, Thank you so much for taking the time to share such a detailed and uplifting review of your recent stay at Hôtel des Arts Saigon. It is wonderful to hear that you returned to us post-Covid and enjoyed the experience in our Executive Studio Suite—especially its spacious, luxurious-yet-unpretentious design, reminiscent of the “Indochine x Parisian” elegance we strive to embody. We also love that you noticed and appreciated the artful details around the hotel—incorporating beautiful artwork is indeed a passion of ours, intended to enhance every corner of your stay. We’re thrilled that you plan to visit our rooftop pool and experience The Albion by Kirk Westaway on your next trip; we look forward to making those moments just as memorable. Thank you again for choosing to return to Hôtel des Arts Saigon and for sharing your wonderful reflections. It was our pleasure to look after you, and we can’t wait to welcome you back for yet another exceptional stay. Warm regards, Philippe Le Bourhis General Manager

We stayed here for 3 nights in January 2024 in a 2 person Deluxe room (30 m2). It is certainly NOT a boutique hotel as they claim! The hotel is “larger” than expected and lacks the atmosphere we expected. There is sometimes a 10-minutes waiting time for one of the 3 elevators. There is loud music everywhere: in the lobby, the elevators, the restaurants, at the pool. Why? Opposite the hotel is a “small market” where they play extremely loud music until 22.30 / 10.30 pm. Avoid a room at the front (where we stayed unfortunately). Staff is friendly and helpful. WiFi and shower are very good. The small bathroom has one sink, a separate toilet and shower cabin. The bed is good. The room has airconditioning, a minibar and a Nespresso coffee machine. 4 bottles of drinking water are provided every day without costs. There is a laundry service 7 days a week with reasonable costs. The breakfast buffet is very good, but the restaurant is dark and the set up emphasises the large scale of the hotel. On the 23 floor there is a swimming pool and bar with amazing view. The hotel has a cafe, Vietnamese restaurant and Western restaurant. The area around the hotel is disappointing and there are less restaurants within walking distance than we expected.

Overall a nice stay at the Hotel des Arts in Saigon. Room was impeccably clean, and housekeeping came to clean my room twice a day as requested. Sunset from the rooftop was very pleasant, didn’t get an opportunity to try out the pool. Restaurant on 23rd floor is good but it does not have any Vietnamese options - very European centric menu. As a solo traveler, the bathroom did not bother me but I could see how this is problematic for a couple as the doors are simply thin glass and there is no real barrier between bathroom and bedroom.
The staff kindly upgraded me to a corner room on the 22nd floor with a beautiful view, and noise from the concert space / party area across the street settled down by 23h.
Comfortable bed, nice bathroom products!
If it hadn’t been for the extremely excessive deposit charge upon arrival (18,000,000 dong for a two night stay which cost 9,850,000 dong in total for the room) would have been without fault.

It’s all about the art in this boutique hotel. The bed room walls and finishes are art deco with quaint touches like a soaking tub in full view as you walk through the door. Perhaps the best attraction of this hotel is the culinary experience. There is a Michelin award winning chef and his celebrated tasting menu. For breakfast, our tour group enjoyed a fine all you can eat meal every morning in the lower floor dining room.
So why not a 5 rating. ? I was assigned a lower floor room with a close up view of a nearby disco. Luckily it was not open during our stay otherwise the noise would have been deafening. As it was though, there was a lot of corridor noise . This is a potential negative so if you plan to stay at this hotel, you must insist on a high floor . Otherwise, skip it.

What a shame, worst stay in the whole of our visit travelling in Vietnam. Everything seemed too much trouble, particularly when we tried to exchange $100 in to VND around 7pm. We were told the6 didn’t have any money and there would not be any until the following morning. We managed to get $50 exchanged after demanding to speak to a manager and she advised there would be more money available at 10am the following day; no surprises 10am the following day no money and told to go to the bank.
Aside from the above we were unable to find anything for breakfast as very poor selection and the dining was very dark and depressing. Even worse was the noise we had to endure in our room both nights from the roof top bar. Very little sleep and despite letter advising of noise and that ear protectors were provided we could not locate. We were on floor 18. Wherever you went in the hotel you were subjected to music. If you want to relax and chill out after a busy day we would not recommend staying at this hotel.

Prices are higher than in the usual restaurants nearby, the social club offers good European cuisine.
in the second floor you have the breakfast area and also restaurant during the day with a great and delicious variety of food served
rooftop pool bar offers burgers and some dishes like fried squid and other appetisers, they also have a great variety of drinks - my favourite is the Long Island ice tea - well prepared and during happy hour very well priced.
"Avoid rooftop bar if you are non-smoker. Walk to food hall at Diamond plaza nearby where they have more food or drinks options with good price & nice outdoor garden."
There are more places to choose from in the Ho Chi Minh City area.
