Detailed Reviews
Firstly if you book a basic room within windows they will try upgrade you as seen in many reviews with this hotel.
They told us our room wasn’t ready but more expensive room was.
We paid the extra just for our own convenience
Room was tiny and basic but clean and good bed and shower
Location was next street to walking street so ideal for food and drink
Staff in reception reluctant to help with various queries
No interest in helping with luggage to our room
Needed to ring flight company head office and asked reception to try for me.
Vuong said he had tried previous day for another visitor but they wouldn’t answer. Told him today was a different day and could he try.
He rang number and slammed handset in reception desk for me to take over
They didn’t answer so have him address and asked if could source a taxi to take us there. He wrote down address and asked us to take taxi from street!
He wrote a completely different address to online and low and behold taxi took us to wrong address
Breakfast staff were nice

+1
Staff were lovely and helpful. Room was clean and breakfast was very good with a lot of variety. Breakfast is served in the same location as the sky bar on the 12th floor so it has spectacular views of the city. Highly recommend a visit at night. Location is great, walking distance to the market and walking street. Heaps of restaurants around. We had a room facing the park out the front.

This is a very well located hotel.Nice and clean with very friendly and attentive staff.
The hotel is not modern by any means but the rooms are clean, bed firm but comfortable and located close to just about anything you could desire.Breakfast was surprisingly good considering the price.
If you like a window in your room go for the superior room or specify that you would like a window.The price difference is minimal. $AU65 incl breakfast. Would be happy to recommend.

My family booked a Grand Deluxe Room (1 double bed and 1 single bed) weeks prior to the trip. However, upon arrival on 4 Jan, the hotel claimed that there was no such booking and upon investigation, they realised that they made a mistake, only reserving the room from 11 Jan onwards. After 1.5hrs, they then told us to go to their partner hotel next door, Liberty Hotel Saigon Parkview, claiming that arrangements for a similar room have been made. However, the room provided for us was a normal room with 2 single beds along with a makeshift bed (with a really thin mattress) to make up for the supposed 3 beds that we wanted. Moreover, we had to pay the same price (aka the price of a Grand Deluxe Room) for this room. It was extremely disappointing.

Breakfast was also served at a beautiful hotel, which was good.
<Facilities and Services>
· Conveniently you can change the height of the shower.
· The shower is filled with hot water.
- There was no tissue paper box (you need tissue).
I am happy because: I have been using this product for a long time.
· All rooms were non-smoking and all buildings were non-smoking, but smoking is allowed on the veranda of the restaurant floor on the top floor and the view is also good.
· Breakfast was delicious with a wide variety. There were several kinds of bread and the vegetables felt fresh.
· Shower room is small (no problems).
<Staff Response>
· The front desk staff did not say good morning (or good afternoon) and the way of speaking was somewhat clerical.
・The bellboy was very responsive.
<Location>
· Facing the park on 23 September, access to Bui Bien Street is convenient.

Stayed 3 nights, centrally located to all in district 1. Large rooms and bathrooms with plenty of hanging space. Laundry VERY expensive (20-30k) per item, mich cheaper to do outside at 30k per kg within 1-2mins walk. Forget about trying to use the gym, equipment is broken and toon is more used as a storage room for hotel.

Staff were friendly. Room was clean, however the bed was not very comfortable and every morning at 4am there was a banging noise for a couple of minutes that continued every hour until about 7am. I am a deep sleeper and it even wake me.
The breakfast was okay, however think another toaster would be a good idea.
The sky bar on the 12th floor has spectacular views of the city. Highly recommend a visit at night. Location is great, walking distance to the market and loads of restaurants around.
I believe a back up hairdryer is needed for the occasions that the ones in the rooms break.

Elios has always been my first choice for stays in Saigon...this was the first short stay and the first time I have been disappointed. I understand the only rooms left were the internal small rooms with no windows. Yes they feel claustrophobic but they are more quiet from road noise. As soon as I opened my door i was unimpressed that there was a strong stench from a previous guest smoking in the NON smoking rooms. With no windows in the room it needed a deep clean and a week to be aired out at least. I was offered another internal room 405 which was fine and had a walk in shower with great water pressure. The mattress is firm but comfy, good pillows, cable TV, great AC + wifi, but the room is really only big enough for one person and their luggage.
The best part of this hotel is still the SkyBar on floor 12 and the amazing views from the balcony and restaurant on the rooftop. Good cocktails, restaurant food and still a great breakfast.

We enjoyed our stay at Elios Hotel, the rooms were of a good standard and provided everything we needed. The sky bar was lovely and it was nice to overlook the city at night especially after having busy days sightseeing. Breakfast was plenty of choice and we could always find something to our liking.

The breakfast bar is the best. So much to choose from. I wish I was hungrier in the morning because they had everything from breakfast to early lunch. The restaurant is on the top of the hotel which gave us beautiful views of the city in the morning. Nice rooms and cold air conditioning made our stay really great. Great service too.

No, taxis are so cheap though, but negotiate the price first
We stayed in room 910 which had the full monty spa bath.
I did not find the insructions easy to follow but with some staff help soon worked out how to run this 'space capsule'.I thought that the Ellios offered great value for money.
Hi. No, there is no pool in this hotel.
6.30am and no you can't slip in early. Remember you will have to get to the tour start point as well.
I know it;s terrible, with full meals being under $5 but you may have to fork out for a breakfast elsewhere.You will live,believe me.
