The hotel was in a great position. The rooms were not too noisy either. Coming from a country with far more smoking laws... the intense smell of cigarettes throughout the hallways that crept into the room was a negative for us, as well as no hot water in room 902. The hotel gives you what you pay for. The rooms...

We've been staying here for many years now (since the former "Giant Dragon" days in previous ownership). The new owner did extensive renovations and jacked the prices up a bit, but other hotel prices in the area have caught up now anyway, so it's no longer an issue. But he also outsourced the management, and lack of oversight is already...

Stayed four nights in a twin deluxe room. Spacious room and looks exactly like in the picture. They also do a good job keeping up with the cleaning. Very accessible location. I accidentally broke one of the glasses in the room but they didn't let me pay for it. Overall, we had an amazing stay. Thanks DP!

Dragon Palace Hotel is a fine, cheap hotel. Excellent location, friendly staff, and very affordable. Clean too. Apparently very popular with local vietnamese families, it provides a special cosy athmosphere in this busy backpacker district. We saw no backpacker, a part from ourselves..

We booked two executive rooms. For the first night another of us had to stay in a family room, which was quite terrible. Aircon not working, water leaking all over the bathroom floor and also bad smell. The next nights were way better in a proper room. Only complaint was the noise from the busy streets, but otherwise a very...

Great location. Reception staff were friendly and tried hard but were very undertrained in service. Room was tiny with no external window. However there was a window from our room to the corridor outside our door. This allowed a lot of noise. And we were often woken around 5am to the noise of staff banging doors and talking loudly. The...

Stayed at the hotel for 4 nights in a family room. The room I got was in the 9th floor and towards the back of the hotel. The hotel has 10 floors, the elevator only goes up to the 8th floor. However, it isn't difficult to climb the stairs at all, so didn't mind it. The elevator drops you off straight...

As there are three Dragon Palace Hotels, be careful which one you book. We arrived by bus and walked to the hotel from the bus terminal. It is also an easy walk (apart from the HCMC traffic, which is NUTS) in the opposite direction to the markets, which are fantastic for shopping. The hotel has a side entrance off a...

Although surrounding environment is not ideal situated at the backpackers area with lots of shops and pubs nearby, the hotel is centrally located with public transport access and not far from airport. The room area is average but not noisy, facilities and furnishing are modern design, presented to be new and clean. Buffet breakfast is tasty with a variety of...
