Detailed Reviews
I was surprised my room was quite small and rather tired. The bathroom had a tub with a shower attachment. It all worked fine but was not quite what i had expected. I was on the 11th floor and the view out of my room was rather obstructed. There was street noise which ended at 10 pm. Wi-Fi was fine. I left early and they provided a basic boxed breakfast of a banana, some bread and a bottle of water.

Next to Dong Khoi Street. There is a mini park on the street that you can see from the window, and it is noisy with loud singing and drums until late at night. I was surprised that there were no tissues in the room. There were none! The bath water is hot only at the beginning, then it gets lukewarm. The breakfast is below average quality.

I stayed there while on a business trip in Saigon. Check in worked fine. Business Center was closed or did not work or whatever, at least was not available for services.
The rooms are simply said old. Furniture, design, bathroom and fittings, just simply old. Most of it works fine but an old hotel remains and old hotel until it is refurbished and upgraded.
Breakfast room with typical old tables & chairs from the late 80’s. Buffet breakfast looks nice from the distance but that’s about it.
All in all, possible OK for a traveler with limited budget, but if you like to have a certain standard, get something better

After a late arrival, (flights from Australia tend to land after 9pm), I was happy to get to the hotel quite easily, and from there i was warmly greeted by the doorman and member of staff who was manning the front desk. Despite me looking a little ragged from travel they helped me to my room where i quickly made myself comfortable. The room was exactly what i had hoped for. Clean and comfortable, with a view to one of the trendier parts of this vibrant city. There was quite a bit of activity in the streets below - but i expected this, and the room had heavy curtains for me to easily drown out the sound. The breakfast service provided was excellent and the rooftop `pool on the top story was quite accomodating. The 24 hr service meant i could make my way in and out of the hotel with no fuss, so I would happily stay here again, as the central location, the service, the wifi and the memories of my stay here were all on point. Thank you Palace Hotel Saigon. I hope to see you again sometime! :)

Very average hotel, rooms small and poorly cleaned with dirty curtains and a mouldy shower tray
AC ok, WiFi ok
Buffet breakfast average quality but plentiful
One issue which I find disgraceful is the fact that they do not provide irons or ironing boards on the rooms, when I called to ask for one I was told that the only option to have a shirt ironed is to pay the hotel to do it for you, on my opinion this is just a disgrace
I will not return…ever

I feel like a lot of these 4-5 star reviews are by fake accounts, check their profiles.
The location is decent, there is loud music playing every night in the plaza right in front of the hotel. The staff were friendly and nice.
However, most of my rating comes down to the hotel rooms themselves.
They were incredibly dirty, even for South East Asian standards. Black mold EVERYWHERE. Stains on beds and chairs. Water damage very clearly present everywhere, probably in the air condition vents too since I can’t stop coughing and sneezing in my rooms.
Water gets out everywhere when you shower and getting out of the bathtub/shower itself is dangerous due to the wet floor (from showering) and how high up the bathtub sits.
It is very clear and apparent that there is no cleaning staff and no maintenance staff. Only regular lobby workers.
Never returning to this hotel.

There was tissue.
The way the shower was draining was weak.
It is geographically very conveniently located.
The nearby supermarket went under. And the nearest supermarket is on the second basement floor of Takashimaya. It takes less than ten minutes to walk. Plastic bags are free in Vietnam, but there was a charge here.
The next morning we left early, so we had our lunch prepared, but all we had was a ham sandwich, sweet canned coffee, sweet soy milk and chocolate pie. I was disappointed with all the bad stuff.
You could at least put a banana on it.

Staff were not pleasent at all, I probably got two smiles over our 3 night stay. The room wasn’t very sound proof, you could easily hear conversations from the hallway and the noice from the main road. The albalcony was unusable, very small but filthy from pigeons who were constantly on it. The bed was low and uncomfortable, the only plus was the cleanliness of the room and the rooftop pool. Wouldn’t recommend and wouldn’t stay there again.

Our check in date Feb 23 / Check out Feb 25
Such a worst hotel forever. We booked around 11 room for our group. 10 Double + 1 Single. Room is very small. All rooms are allotted 10 different floor. That all 301, all 1 ending rooms near lift and like store room. It's not a proper double room. Even they keep only 1 soap for 1 room. Usually 4 star hotels keep good quantity of toiletries. Totally this hotelier cheated us. Breakfast not worth.
309, 1201 Room a/c not work. Very rude behaviour of staff.
As a Travel Agent We never recommend this property again. Simply they are cheat our guest. Totally Waste of money.

Amazing location, but one of the worst hotels I have ever been.
The carpet was soiled and filthy
The bathroom flooded after a shower
The window was a view of a concrete wall with pipe, no natural
Toxic black mold was ventilating through the room
Breakfast plenty of choices, but there were a concern with hygiene
This place stinks literally and figuratively. WARNING HEALTH HAZARD

We also booked through an agent, Freedom Asia.
Buffet breakfast, good selection and very nice.
I'm not sure, but I can tell you there is a decent amount of International restaurants in the area since the hotel is right in the center of downtown, but most of them are serving western food. In the "backpackers district" of Ho Chi Minh, just southwest of the hotel, they have a lot more options for international food, like I remember seeing a Brazilian restaurant. Good luck
I did not see any motor cycles parked at the hotel whilst I was there.
