The Rex Hotel was a spectacle both inside and outside and we were able to stay a night in the Presidential room which had a large tv area and seperate bedroom. The main window overlooked one of Saigon's busiest streets but traffic noise was not heard inside the room. The room was very spacious and the bed was very enjoyable...

We stayed at the Rex Suite and the room was huge. The room is a traditional style with wooden décor. The location is perfect for touring Saigon. We were there for New Years eve and it was a huge celebration just outside the door. The open air terrace was really nice to enjoy breakfast. The food was great with a...

I stayed in several of the better hotels in Saigon. I thought I would try the racks because it's centrally located near the walking park. I reserved an executive suite to make sure I received a quality room. When I entered the room I realized it was about as big as the sixpence inn. In fairness it had the charm...

I like the Rex. As simple as that. It is not perfect, can be quite noisy due to the construction site outside or the roof top bar (moving chairs) - but it is still a great hotel. Service is professional and fast, the rooms are spacious and nice and the location unbeatable. The experience does change a bit depending on...

We arrived at the hotel and had to wait an hour to get into our executive room even though it was an hour after the checkin time. The room had constant noise coming from inside the hotel- banging, machinery being used, and what sounded like furniture being dragged around coming from above us, that kept us up half the night...

We only stayed in HCMC for one night but had almost a full day to explore the city. The hotel is in a great location, we walked everywhere to see the sights in the city. We booked the hotel based on reviews on Booking.com. Although the location was good, the room was a great size for a city centre hotel,...

Luxurious property in prime location at the very heart of Ho Chi Minh City. Polite, accommodating staff. Was here for 4 nights- the breakfast is to absolutely die for. More food and options then you'd expect to be included in a hotel deal. There is some construction noise going on from a building that is being demolished nearby, but that...

Booked Rex Suites with two single bed which supposed to have separate living room area next to bedroom. First we were taken to a room with one double-size bed and had to claim we reserved two beds room. (Later we could move to two beds room). At the wet bar corner, there was no refrigerator equipped in the room. In...

We were lucky enough to spend 2 nights in this beautiful historic hotel. Our room was huge and the bed was a cloud, a welcome change to the hard beds we had had in the past. The pool and roof top bar have wonderful views. Breakfast was great. We also had lunch at the roof top bar which was good...
