There are not enough superlatives to do justice to this wonderful hotel, nestled in the quaint, old Saigon area of District 1 in Ho Minh City! It provides easy access to/from the airport and is close to the bus station and the famous Ben Tanh market. The friendly doormen will acquire a taxi for you quickly and as a measure of protection, they take a note of the taxi number and give the driver a card with the hotel details for your return trip. In addition, it is within walking distance of many bars, restaurants and places of historical interest. The hotel building is sleek, modern and spotlessly clean. Rooms are light, spacious and airy, with extremely comfy beds, supplied with fluffy bathrobes and slippers and even in some rooms there is a Nespresso coffee maker. The modern, Western-style bathrooms offer complimentary, quality Elemis toiletries. There is a good-sized swimming pool with a decking area, complete with loungers and a bar/refreshment service. But what really sets this hotel apart from the many I have stayed in, is the welcoming friendliness of the staff and the excellent, professional level of service throughout! Nothing is ever too much trouble for these people! The Managers and Supervisors go out of their way to introduce themselves and give you their personal card, and ensure that everything is good in your room and well with your stay. Then they impress upon you that you must contact them if you need any help or have any requests for services. We met the Executive Chef of the hotel, James Williams, whose excellent food is a real asset to this establishment. TOP TIP: it really is worth spending a little extra for a Residence Club room. Located on the tenth floor, you are just steps away from the private Club Lounge, where meals and drinks are served (no waiting around for lifts). This area leads out onto a wonderfully, relaxing roof terrace, with stunning views of the city. Here you will find comfy, padded furniture, where you can sit and smoke or enjoy a complimentary soft drink or tea/coffee (you must try the cappuccino). Special thanks to Jasmine, the day supervisor and Quinnie the evening supervisor, for ensuring our every comfort throughout our stay. Special thanks to Quy and to Duy, for making me an excellent and complimentary Singapore Sling, even though it was not on the menu. Thanks also to Ethan Lee for looking after us and getting the air con in our room to the perfect temperature. They really have thought of everything at this Hotel, just check-in and chill out. We enjoyed our stay so much, we are going back this week for some more pampering!

My kids and I have such a wonderful stay at New World Hotel. I purchased the basic package and upon arrival I paid just a little more for "The Club" experiences. It did turn out one of the best stay I have ever had. I was totally amazed by the excellent customer service of the staff who are very attentive to every single detail and I can feel they did try their utmost best to make our stay the most comfortable one. The Club Residence is such a nice treat, of course it comes with some extra budget, but fair enough, you always get what you pay for: private and express check in and out at the Club Lounge, complimentary tea/coffee/water and soft drink, evening cocktail and breakfast at the lounge. The room is nice, clean with good view of Saigon Street, the blackout curtains work well, spacious enough to accommodate 1 adult with 2 young kids; overall I am satisfied with the room for the price I paid. The food at the evening cocktail and breakfast is nice, fresh and the staff there are always happy to help. Drinks are special, I love the cocktails and the fresh dragon fruit and watermelon juice. I love my stay there and appreciate all the people working there who try to make us feel home. Thank you and I will come back.

We stayed 2 nights at the New World and like it very much. The room is nice and clean with modern furniture and decor. I give them 4 1/2 star since there was no bathtub. We was told at check out that they have rooms with bathtubs and would offer us a room with one if we told them our preference☹️. The breakfast buffet was overpriced for a mediocre food and limited choices. Food option seem to be catering to certain group of travelers. If you are Vietnamese or Westerner, there’s not much for you to choose from which is too bad since it’s in Vietnam. This’s what we noticed at most hotels in Vietnam through our vacation last 3 week in several city in Vietnam. Other than that, it’s a good hotel to stay and the location is central . It’s closed to everything.

Location was very good. You can literally walk about 12 mins going to City Center were the famous “Walk Street” Nguyen Hue St. is located.
Check-in was smooth. Though at first, we were given a room that the key door does not work. So I have to go down again to Reception. The Receptionist said it maybe the battery is weak.
This should have been detected before hand by changing the battery in advance on the average consumption of their rooms. They should a record on this, so no need to wait and let the battery drained.
This can be very inconvenient to some guest in a rush. Well not a big issue for us, but something to improve on. We were then moved to room 1149. Very nice and very neat, very quiet room. Amenities are 5 star class. Pretty impressive. The toilet amenities shampoo and hand liquid soap smells very good! Though the bath tub is small and still the old style were you will shower standing on the bath tub. So in short, there is no separate shower room. I learned the hotel is quite old but the rooms were completely refurbished 2 years ago. Nicely done!
Our best experience was the Club Lounge benefit, well as part of their promotion we got an automatic upgrade to Club floor with Club lounge privileges.
The evening cocktail food is very generous, you can have a meal dinner literally and the cocktail drinks are unlimited. Wines are also good quality.
I have to commend the gentleman on duty that day mixing drinks for a job well done. He made our experience very enjoyable that evening. Please extend our commendation to him.
Breakfast the following day was also good with attentive staff assisting all guests. The hotel was busy at breakfast but all our needs were attended efficiently. Their service standards is well executed.
We will surely like to come back for another relaxing stay! Well done New World Saigon Team!

This hotel is absolutely amazing! The rooms are beautiful and very well taken care of. Every part of the hotel was beautiful. The entire staff was very helpful and attentive. Breakfasts were delicious with many options to choose from. On our trip, we began and ended in Ho Chi Minh City. Our departing flight was late evening, so we got a VIP suite on the 10th floor because they had a late afternoon checkout*. What an experience! The desk clerk, Ho, was incredibly helpful getting us settled and seeing to our needs. We'd missed the complimentary cocktail hour, but Ho somehow managed to get us a couple of drinks so we could wind down. Breakfast was again amazing, and we enjoyed it on the roof of the hotel, where we had a stunning view of downtown Ho Chi Minh City. We were treated like visiting royalty.
The lobby staff was the best I've ever seen anywhere. Everyone was most attentive.
Security was very good. The elevators wouldn't work unless activated with a room card. You had to have a VIP room to go to the roof (10th floor). The staff waited with us whenever we were waiting for a taxi.
Normally, my highest endorsement for a business is to say I would go there again. This hotel is a level above that. The next time I go to Ho Chi Minh City, I won't stay anywhere else!
*Checkout was either 4 or 5 (I can't remember), but our flight was at 11 pm. The hotel staff graciously offered to store our luggage after checkout so that we could enjoy the city without having to worry about it. This was just one example if the five-star service this hotel offered.

I have unforgettable experiences during my stays at the Residence Club at New World Saigon Hotel in both November 2019 and this New Year's Eve.
Despite of the Covid-19, the service was still excellent and professional as always or even better. For the second time at the Residence Club, surprisingly, I was upgraded to the Suite, which gave me the feelings of being so special and appreciated.
The colossal and spotless suite in the corner gave me the beautiful lively panorama views of the Saigon city centre. And know what, one of the best things I love about the New World hotel, exclusively for the Residence Club is the complimentary evening cocktail and the luxurious private lounge with express check in and check out comes with superb service where all the devoted staff trying their best to make me feel at home. That was captivating.
Now, when recalling my lovely stays at this outstanding hotel, I still feel jubilant to be warmly welcomed and delicately taken care of. Believe me, give the New World hotel a try, you won’t ever regret.

I stayed at this hotel early this year. The rooms were satisfactory and the location of the hotel, very ideal.
However, as most of you are aware, every hotel requires a security deposit upon check-in. This is normal.
Check out was easy and fast. Upon check out, the staff will inform you that as per their procedure, the security deposit held will be cancelled/released.
Now, what is not normal is that they will claim that you have consumed some items from the room mini bar (which I did not) and deduct the amount from the security deposit held (without you knowing) after you have returned home!

Dear scqs, I appreciate you taking the time to flag your concerns from your January stay at our hotel. I apologise if my team did not communicate the procedure, time taken for the local banks to release a security deposit charged to a foreign credit card. I have personally spoken to our front office team to ensure that this is communicated during the check in, security deposit process to avoid similar concerns. In regards to the late payment you are correct that you personally did not consume the items. The items were consumed by a guest within your party and your credit card was charged as you provided a security deposit for the party of 11 rooms. My team did send you an email on January 14 detailing the items consumed and the guest in your group who consumed those items. I apologise if this caused you an additional inconvenience post stay. If you want the best out of life, want the best location, best place to stay, then New World Saigon is the place. The place is massive, takes up the entire block. Large swimming pool. Tennis court, Spa, gym and Sauna. Views of city. No hawkers directly outside (like most hotels), Service is 5 star. The food is 5 Star. I have stayed at other 5 star hotels around the world, and this one is one of my favourites.

It was my first time staying at this hotel in central Ho Chi Minh and I must say it was a pleasant surprise from the moment I arrived to when I left. I especially recommend for a business stay to book a room on the executive floor, you will be greeted by a very friendly and very efficient staff in a very welcoming environment where even the smallest details are taken care of by expert hands. The rooms are furnished in a modern style, are functional and have everything that a 5 star would expect. The highlight is the part of the executive floor dedicated to relaxation where in a very pleasant lounge you can enjoy a view of the city and the pampering of all the staff. From 5.30 pm, in addition to many drinks, a rich buffet is served which is changed every day. The same thing happens for the breakfast which is always very varied and with products of the highest quality. As an experienced business traveler I have been a guest in many executive floors but only on very rare occasions have I felt so well and pampered. My compliments to all the staff and management of this hotel.

Brunch @ the newly opened Black Vinegar in New World Hotel.
Not so many Dim Sum restaurant in town so happy to hear that the new world hotel was launching its AYCE (All You Can Eat) brunch .... and definitely a place to enjoy.
From the zen/warm atmosphere to the top notch service (staff and timing between each plates) everything was set for a nice time. This was confirmed by a French and tasty dim sum menu to order at your table. Actually we might have had 12 different type and each of them were nice .....
A place to try for brunch ....... A place to return (most likely in evenings to try their “a panda carte menu” (especially their duck)
Total bill was about 3Mn for 2 pax with cocktails + Black Goji Tea, worse it !!
Actually we realise afterwards that we did not take any dim sum pics (too good) so few others below 🙂

Depending on which standard of room you have. We only stay in Residence Club rooms , there is Tea and Coffee, Nespresso machine. There are also Premium spirits and soft drinks in the room (Payable) however, in the Residence Club lounge , free tea, coffee, beer and spirits are available.
They are still renovating the rooms. I was amused by two sets of ear plugs in our room. I wouldn't stay there again as there are so many better hotels for the same price. The staff are wonderful, the gym is great but they have lost me and we travel to HCMC every year. Have a look at the Norfolk, still one of my favorites.
