Hotel is very nice and clean. We were given connecting room with the kids so it was easy for us to communicate as a whole family.
Hotel location is quite close to the airport so it does not take long to commute to the airport with free shuttle service from the hotel. That was excellent. From the hotel to the city centre does not take long at all, 15-20mins by Grab taxi (very very cheap Grab), most Grab taxis are well maintained and cleaned too.
Buffet breakfast at hotel is excellent, wide variety, light Vietnamese Foods to Western Foods, that's excellent as well.
Hotel staffs are very polite and courteous, very helpful too.
Hotel security was excellent too, I had my nephew came to the hotel to hang around with my kids and suddenly I could see security staffs wondering around and checking out where he sits or who he hangs out with.
Apart from all positive feed back, there's only 1 negative aspect about the hotel is that, charging for soft drink or juice is so expensive. A glass of orange juice costs above AU$8.00. That is a bit excessive comparing to a five star hotel in Australia.
Will I come back to Eastin Grand again in the future? YES I would, because of its location and service from the hotel staffs. If booking ahead, we could get a good deal too comparing to other 5 stars hotel in Saigon.

I stayed here for 9 nights during my trip to Vietnam for my sister's wedding, and because she had her wedding here. This seemed like a place for business rather than for family and leisure. Because I traveled alone this time, I felt safe in this hotel, knowing most people who stayed here were for business. The service on the Club floor was great. The staff came quickly when needed. Club floor was offered 5 pieces of clothes washed and pressed everyday, breakfast, afternoon refreshments, and evening light dinner in the executive lounge. Because I spent most of my day visiting friends and family, I didn't try their afternoon tea , so I can't say how good it was. Breakfast options were good. They offered Asian and continental breakfast, very clean and nicely presented. I only used the Executive Lounge once during dinner time. The selection was limited but good quality. It was very quiet.

Stayed 3Ns on a work trip and overall is value for money. While the room is showing sign of ageing, is overall still well maintained and nothing much to complain at the price point.
Likes: Very short drive to the international airport (though when traffic is bad, you could still be stuck for >30mins), very good sleep quality with comfy mattress, overall clean room and it felt refreshed & sanitised when you stepped into it, staffs are polite and well-trained, small but decent breakfast area
Dislike: Is not in the most happening District 1 location (but Grab car is easily available), the shower blind can be a bit revealing and wouldn't suit friends sharing the same room, bathroom facilities could do with some modernisation / upgrade.

We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights just after Christmas. It has the feeling of a very grand hotel and certainly the rooms are spacious. Two weddings were staged while we were there which was fun to watch. The staff were always very pleasant and helpful. My family enjoyed the pool area - a great place to refresh after noisy and dusty days exploring Ho Chi Minh City. We found the breakfast amazing and no other hotel topped the selection and choices on offer here, during our time in Vietnam. It was a wee way away from the main tourist attractions, but taxis were very cheap so that wasn't really an issue. My only criticism is that we shared a superior room with my daughter and she was on a roll-out bed which we didn't expect. The bed was so hard and uncomfortable we actually asked for an extra duvet to put underneath her (which was happily supplied) but the bed was still rock hard and she ended up sleeping on a whole lot of pillows!

Every aspect of my experience from check-in to check out was very easy. The staff were courteous and friendly. The room was luxurious and the goodnight sweet treats were a lovely touch. The Executive Lounge had good WiFi and was an easy environment to work in and the food and drinks on offer were extensive and very good value. Getting to/from ETown by taxi was cheap and easy.

Great 5* hotel located inbetween the airport and district 1
The hotel is very modern and the room was well equipped including international electric sockets. Air conditioning was very effective throughout the hotel.
On check in they ask you to download the hotel app to your smart phone, this gives lots of details on the hotel facilities, allows you to order in room dining and also lets you request your housekeeping service to clean your room.
The hotel has three restaurants, a buffet, a Chinese restaurant and a sports type bar, it also has a coffee shop on the exterior which serves excellent ice cream. There is also an electronic casino in the hotel.
The Spa attached to the lobby is very good and offers a wide range of services.
All the staff I encountered were first class and very service orientated.
I would definitely return!

We stayed at the Eastin Grand hotel for four nights during our stay in Vietnam. Worthy of its five star rating. The staff were top notch and a credit to management. We ate breakfast as part of our package and can say it was delicious with plenty of choices. Had dinner in the ground floor restaurant and can say it is worth trying, especially the Thai red and green curry, best we’ve tasted.
The only downside was our visit to the hotel in house Chinese restaurant which was a complete letdown and would definitely give a miss.
We used the private mini bus every day which drops you off in the centre and picks you back up at various times back to the hotel. This was a great touch and free!!!

My wife and I had 3 nights here Feb’23, probably our 4th or 5th time staying here. We both love this hotel and find the location perfect to visit family near by and it’s also only 10 minutes to the airport.
The rooms have not changed since our last stay pre-COVID, very comfortable and spacious, great gym/pool and everything you’d expect for a 5* Hotel with rooms impeccably serviced daily.
One thing I have always found to be a standout during past stays has been the breakfast, unfortunately we felt this has slipped a touch since we last stayed, still good though and thankfully this did not detract too much from our overall stay.
If this location suits your travel plans and budget, I recommend this property without hesitation.

I would imagine it would be around 20US$ as the hotel although excellent are not as dollar conscious as other 5* hotels. Please check with reservations. But for this is free breakfast, afternoon tea, buffet dinner with hot and cold selections. Free alcoholic drinks inc wine from 6pm to 8pm

Yes they have a business centre and will have this facility.
Hi. yes not far from this hotel you'll find everything. ask the front desk for the supermarket location and they will direct you.
Taxis are so cheap, not worth waiting for a bus it's not far away! Cheers!
