Very happy with my stay at Silverland May! Every staff member makes you feel welcomed at the hotel. From the time you enter the hotel they treat you like you’re the most important person in the world! I requested early check in and they honored that. Thao helped me with overview of the hotel and room. She asked me what type of food i wanted to try and made recommendations for specific dishes. That was really nice of her. She twice reminded me to try their afternoon tea which is more than tea, it’s light snacks offering. It’s pretty good. Anna and Nhu helped me from time to time and always with smiling faces. They accommodated my request for later check out. Housekeeper Linh was always very attentive and brought me water bottles and accommodated cleaning per my schedule. All the staff was very attentive and whenever i got off the grab they even checked the car if i forgot anything. They really treat you exceptionally well!

Our stay at Silverland May was simply outstanding, and we couldn't be more satisfied. The whole place is very clean and top maintained. Every tile, wallpaper and no matter how small a joint is laid perfectly and every corner is clean.

The afternoon tea included in the overnight price is very varied. There were freshly prepared snacks, including waffles, crepes, cakes and Asian appetizers – in the tropical climate it’s like an extra meal.
The pool was large enough to swim lanes, and the steam room and sauna were not only super clean, but also always staffed by attentive service staff. Little tip: at happy hour there are two drinks at the pool bar for the price of one. And the waiters speak good English (as do the whole team) and are always available for a friendly chat.
The service is also particularly noteworthy. The whole team and especially Ms Thao at the reception was friendly and accommodating without being intrusive. From her we received great recommendations for restaurants and events in the area. She has asked us every day if everything is to our satisfaction.

Great location within walking distance of many of the main sights in HCMC and next to an area with many restaurants especially Japanese. Clean and comfortable room of average size. Aircon and WiFi worked well and great water pressure in the bath/shower. Breakfast included, buffet style with eggs cooked to order and reasonable selection of food. Rooftop pool and bar were welcoming. Very friendly and helpful staff, particularly the doorman for finding all sorts of shops and services. We would definitely stay here again.

Silverland May was an extremely welcoming, professional and comfortable place to stay for our four nights in Ho Chi Minh City! From the moment you walk into the hotel lobby, the place looks, feels, sounds and even smells great. It is high class and beautifully decorated - this place was recently renovated and you can definitely tell. All service staff we encountered were professional and helpful. There were lots of little touches that made the place feel luxurious and relaxing.
The rooftop pool is such a beautiful space, the pool is always the perfect temperature to escape the Vietnamese heat. Although they were playing some pretty hectic electro music at weird times.
The hotel is located walking distance from many major attractions, and we didn’t have to get a taxi the entire time we stayed here because we were able to walk to most places. It is in a pretty expensive neighbourhood so some of the restaurants around it are pricey for Vietnam.
The rooms are clean, bright and comfortable. My only critique is that the shower was hard to control - either boiling hot or freezing cold - and there was a weird gap down the side of the bath where water could get into and will probably smell in a few months if not maintained properly.
Apart from those minor issues, the hotel was beautiful, and we enjoyed our stay thoroughly!

This hotel is an excellent value for the money. I had so many positive experiences here I'm not really sure where to start, but I'll save the best for last. The lobby is beautiful and they change the decorations on a daily basis. There is a small coffee/juice bar that also offers food and excellent smoothies located next to the lobby.
The buffet offers a wide variety of both Western and Asian food. They have a chef that will make you fresh eggs if you desire and offer a couple different varieties of Pho. There is a beautiful water feature in the restaurant and the service was very good.
The gym is small, but offers everything you need to accomplish a good workout, including a bench, dumbbell's and treadmill.
The pool was my favorite. If I remember correctly, it was located on the 14th floor. It is enclosed with a partial opening in the roof so it doesn't get too hot, and you have a choice to be in the shade if you desire. The pool menu is excellent and offers a great selection of food throughout the day and evening, the prices are very reasonable. The beef tacos were my favorite. They even have a big screen with music and offer a movie night a few times a week. I enjoyed hanging out here several hours each day.
The spa was excellent and I highly recommend that you get at least one massage. I had several massages and they were nothing short of wonderful. They even offer a coupon for a discount if I remember correctly.
Everything above was great, but I cannot express enough the exceptional service and kindness that I received from the front desk and lobby staff. The hotel has a gem in Grace, she made our stay one of the best I have ever experienced! She was kind, super helpful and was always there for us if we had any questions or needed anything. Because of her, this will be my hotel of choice when I visit Vietnam, which will be several times a year.
I must also mention Penny, the bellhop/greeter at the lobby door. He was one of the best! He remembered our names from the very first day. He had a great personality, always had a smile on his face, was funny and super knowledgeable. Whenever we needed directions or had questions regarding tours/attractions, he had the answers. I hope to see Penny promoted when I return.

It was clean and comfortable to clean the pool on the roof and the chair table by the pool. Breakfast buffe was also delicious, but it was a shame there was no butter on the bread, just jam. Pros: Spacious room with good storage space. Rooftop pool is a great place to relax and enjoy out of the hustle and bustle of HCMC. Thao is fantastic and helped us change rooms due to some failures within the original room. Nice touch was the afternoon tea and staff going around rooms providing little add ons such as chocolate and fruit.
Not so good: Had to get hotel maintenance to fix 2 issues in our first room within the first 12 hours of arrival. Not a good introduction to the hotel. The gym is extremely outdated and the equipment is either very old or broken. Be aware that smoking/vaping is allowed in the rooftop pool area which took us by surprise. Bathroom needs to be updated as water was overflowing from the shower to the floor.
