Recent name change to Brilliant Saigon with refurbishment still in progress but did not detract from compact but adequate room with air conditioner which worked well, good hot shower & basic amenities including hairdryer & satellite TV all provided for with bottles of water replaced daily. Room rate includes decent buffet breakfast.Very friendly & helpful young staff.Locared in back street... More

They have changed the name to "BRILLIAND SAIGON HOTEL" and i don't think lives up to its name. They have done a lot of improvements, surely for the better, installed new nicer and more spacious bathrooms in some rooms like the one i always stayed but they increased the prices as well. Mrs Loan, the previous owner, has rented it out and the new... More

This is not big hotel in the tourist center of Ho Chi Minh City. We spent here five days and we were glad come back again and again. On the one hand hotel is located in quiet place, so as it is surrounded by other buildings. On the other hand there are a lot of travel agencies, small supermarkets, gift... More

The hotel lobby was very damp smelling and quite dingey. The staff were friendly and helpful at checkin and my room was clean enough and had good aircon. The downside is there was no hot water for the duration of my stay, so only quick cold showers making for a bad start to the day. Also, at night they lock... More

The Superior room was nice and comfy but unfortunately when we came to sleep late at night we found out the bed was not clean, we found hair on our pillows which disgust us. We had to go and ask for clean sheets which was hard to find and the ones we got were not that clean either. This could... More

This hotel was very very basic. The lobby is a bit dingy and the restaurant area where you enjoy your free breakfast is extremely depressing. The included food is again very average. However the room was very clean, spacious, and tidy. The shower worked completely fine but on occasion lacked a bit of hot water which isn't always the biggest... More

The staff are nice and courteous. This is a good and clean budget hostel. Basic necessities are available and it also includes heater. The hostel is recommended for those who wish to Visit Ho Chi Minh without spending too much on the accommodation. It is near affordable restaurants and as well as tour agencies. The place is not the best... More

Such an excellent, easy place to stay. Great facilities. So close to superb eating places as well as the must do shopping! Staff were attentive. They looked after us brilliantly providing us a refuge while we waited for a delayed flight. Would stay again. Very grateful to have been so well looked after.

Golden Wind is in the heart of Pham Ngu Lao, a good location for visiting Ho Chi Minh, very central and yet very quiet as it is "hidden" behind the main road. The hotel is clean, comfortable and also included breakfast for a pretty good price.
