I arrived from an early morning flight and staff kindly allowed me to check in immediately without fuss as the room was available.

Breakfast was nice and varied daily. The lady staffing the breakfast room was always courteous.

I had a superior room with no window and didn’t even notice the absence of the window. Room was more than big enough and had a free mini bar. The hotel is in a good location close to the War Remnants museum, Ben Thanh market etc

The reception staff were exceptional. All the ladies I spoke to were so friendly and helpful. There is also a very sweet, friendly security man outside. Highly recommended.

Rooms at the Akoya Central are excellent value as a base for enjoying the tourist attractions and nightlife of Ho Chi Minh City. The hotel is new, clean, and well-located a block north of Chợ Bên Thành, the city’s sprawling central market. Our room (3rd floor rear) was a good fit for two, with very comfortable twin beds, a desk and and a large, sparkling bathroom.

Like other Saigon hotels, the Akoya was forced to close during the worst of the pandemic. At the time of our stay, breakfast service was not yet re-established. As a very nice workaround, at our request, hotel staff ordered in bánh cuốn, phở and other morning specialties from nearby vendors. In this respect and many others, we found the Akoya staff resourceful and eager to help us get our bearings in Vietnam’s southern metropolis.

This small hotel central location you can walk most of the city attractions, The room & the bathroom very clean Coffee and Tea including 2bottles water provided each day via make room request the room had a TV all Chanel on Vietnam language so if you stay the room no entertainment for you. The breakfast small and basic but tasty. Akoy very good for short stay the small very small if you are above 6 feet like me a bit of crowded on the room saying that the hotel location perfect and room very clean the price amazing definitely I will stay one night or two this hotel.

Hotel is located just minutes away from Ben Tanh market. Lots of restaurants around the area and pretty convenient getting around by foot or taxi/Grab. The staffs always greet us with a smile and check in on us to make sure we’re comfortable during our stay. They also helped us get a taxi for our early morning flight- no extra charges :) highly recommend staying at Akoya if you’re ever visiting HCM city!

We stayed here for our first two nights of our Vietnam vacation. Our grab had no trouble finding the hotel (not always the case). There is a 24 hour front desk which was great because we ended up arriving very late after a delayed flight. It was very reasonable priced and in a fantastic location. You can walk to Ben Thanh Market in under 5 minutes and Ngyuen Hue street is a 10-15 minute easy walk away. There is a 24 hour mini mart at the end of the block (literally about 5 doorways down) which was great for us to go grab some drinks and snacks after a late flight since nothing else was open. The neighborhood is nice and we felt very safe walking around all hours of the day. The street out front will get busy during the day but we never had any issues with noise during out stay. The staff were always pleasant and helpful. We ended up staying here for another night two weeks later on our last night since we were familiar with this area and liked the hotel.

We stayed here for four nights and loved the place! So much to see within a 15 Minute walking radius which is handy when the heat gets too much and you need to quickly pop back to your room for a shower and some aircon. We stayed in a deluxe balcony room and found that the room had all the basic amenities required. TV even had a few English channels so could watch some telly when we had some chill out time.

The best feature of this hotel would have to be the staff. Some of the loveliest and friendliest people you'll meet in Ho Chi Minh! The ladies at reception will go out of their way to ensure you have a lovely and safe stay, we're were even given I little cheat sheet card with how to say common phrases and given little pop quizzes as a joke. Lots of friendly giggles and patience with correcting pronunciations. These phrases really helped us when haggling at the markets as the vendors would laugh and appreciate the fact that we took the time to learn some of their language.

The security man at the hotel is also absolutely lovely and had helped me cross the street many times on our first few days as we learnt how to navigate the traffic.

Would absolutely recommend this hotel for people after a budget hotel in district 1.

nice and clean hotel near to many attractions like benh than market, saig8on park etc.
convient to many f&b within walking distance.
staff very friendly and helpful and can converse in english.
breakfast is tasty and adequate.
will defintely come here.
grab is easy to get if you want to go anywhere including airport.
if you are a light sleeper, get room with no balcony or windows as the noise from the road can be quite loud even in the late night and early in the morning.

I just recently stayed a week at Akoya and I'm blown away with the level of service I received. The staff are genuinely friendly, very helpful and made useful recommendations since it was my first time at HCM. I chose this hotel because of the location, which is only a few minutes away from quite a few major attractions, plus Saigon Centre Mall is also right there. The rooms are clean and the free breakfast is also fresh and delicious 😋 I highly recommend this hotel which also offers great value. A big shout out to their staff Joy, Le Dui, Anh, and specially Yen, who helped me with cell data and also went out of her way to help me find a local product I was looking for. I was well taken care of. Thank you Akoya.

Had such a pleasant stay here for two nights travelling with my Mum. Great location, easy to find. Super clean and the breakfast in the morning was lovely. The staff - especially the wonderful older male security guard out the front of the hotel that always gave us an enthusiastic wave on our return and assisted with our bags - made this experience so special and were so welcoming and accomodating from the get go. Would highly recommend and will be back in future!
