Liberty Central Saigon Center Hotel is celebrated by many guests for its prime location and the variety of breakfast options it offers. The spacious rooms and the hotel's cleanliness receive accolades from reviewers, who also enjoy the welcoming atmosphere, particularly in the Bistro restaurant. Although the staff is generally recognized for being friendly and attentive, some guests have had less consistent experiences.
Points of contention include additional charges and the occasional unavailability of the pool and gym facilities. Despite a few mentions of maintenance needs, the hotel is often regarded as providing good value.

Detailed Reviews
We stayed here for 3 nights as part of a multi centre package. Rooms are immaculate. We were 10th floor with great views. The room has a well stocked fridge and selection of snacks (All chargeable) TV , hairdryer, complimentary water and safety deposit box. Bistro bar has offers with drinks of buy one get one free. First night we ate in hotel . Set Asian menu of 5 courses for 299k vd. Great value and lovely food . The market is a stone's throw away . We ate in a market eatery following 2 nights which was amazing. Fresh , quick and well cooked. 4 of us ate. We had 8 bottles of Tiger beer plus starters and mains for £29. Portions are generous. We visited a temple , Post Office, Notre Dam and War Museum. Everything is close by and city maps are readily available. The mopeds . There are thousands of mopeds . I was told to walk out , not worry and they drive around you. They do!. Just be aware. People are friendly. We loved seeing the men sitting playing chequers and the street sellers piling their bikes and mopeds sky high with their precious wares.
One niggle . Breakfast in hotel was mediocre. Very cold, often not topped up and the wait for a pot of tea was lengthy. I did point out to Manager as a constructive criticism but no improvement was obvious.
All in all a great location and enjoyable. Ask for milk . They have tea making facilities but no milk. We loved it !

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights as part of the Gate1Travel group to Vietnam. The hotel is located approximately 150 meters from Phan Boi Chau Night Market where you can find tons of souvenirs, clothing, etc. The hotel was clean. The room was of adequate size but not big. It had all the amenities expected such as complimentary bottled water, refrigerator, bidet, hand held shower, shower gel and shampoo, comb, cotton buds, toothbrush, in-room safe, telephone, hair dryer, and free wifi. Breakfast was adequate and servers were attentive. The proximity of the hotel to nearby shops and entertainment venues make it loud on some nights making sleep difficult. Our room window did not shut properly and noise came through. There was no view to our room window. From the hotel, some attractions are walkable. Due to the busy streets filled with motorbikes, walking can be tricky. It is advisable to take a cab to your destination.

We stayed here for 5 nights in December 2019. We asked for a car to pick us up at the rail station at 06:00 and they were on time in a very comfortable car. We had booked ahead to check in early but unfortunately they did not have our room ready and we had to wait 45minutes, not ideal when we had been travelling for 19 hours. We also had to complain that our shower didn't work, which was rectified. We also complained that as this was a non smoking hotel why was there a smell of cigarettes in the room and cigarette burn marks on the furniture, they could not offer an explanation but volunteered to change our room. There was plenty of choice at breakfast but after the first 2 days the dining room staff changed and the service was not so good. A clean hotel but next time we may choose a different hotel.

The Liberty Central is ideally located for just about everything. The staff are all very polite, friendly and helpful and the place is spotlessly clean. Our room was on the 7th floor, it was spacious and very comfortable and cleaned to a high standard every day, there's also free Wi-Fi. Breakfast was buffet style with a good choice of cereals and hot food too. All up I would definitely come back should the opportunity arise.
BUT!! We used the spa on the 12th floor!! The massage itself was very good however there is a permanent 20% discount offered on all treatments which was not offered when we booked and was refused on the day. We were also told by a tour guide that 20,000 Dong is a good tip (about $1.00 US), the girls were not happy with this, they pulled a face and pretty much demanded more - we ended up giving 50,000 Dong to each girl, and I think they still wanted more!! We later went to reception to check if we paid the correct amount, it wasn't about the money, we just don't like being taken advantage of - we were offered a refund of the difference!! So basically, if you'd like a massage, I'd suggest you go elsewhere!!

Liberty Central was a nice place to stay. Close to markets, food places and beach. Staff could be a bit more helpful and maybe "smile", no tour assistance and language is a problem. Breakfast was limited if you did not like Vietnamese food continually. Fresh milk is usually not available and juices are watered down. Got to accommodation 10 minutes before the 2pm check in and we had to wait until after 2pm to get our room. If not a seasoned traveller, be aware that they keep your passports until you check out. Be cautious of Night Markets, we were pick pocketed and lost our mobile phone.
No matter what floor you are on, there will be noise. Loud speakers on the beach opposite blast music and announcements until about 11pm and start again at 4am and we were on the 16th floor and could not get away from the noise!!

I had a very good experience at the hotel, the location is fantastic as it is so close to pretty much everything you need to see. Captain Hong Thai was especially good when it came to giving advice on what to do and where to go. If you ever need advice, I highly recommend paying him a visit!

We stayed at the Liberty Central Saigon for about three weeks and had fun every day. Dien, Van, Anh, and Triet all went above and beyond to make us comfortable and provide a fun time, whether at the pool or at the restaurant. I don’t remember more names but all of the staff took care of us. Our room was spacious and had a very comfortable bed, we enjoyed a massage and the pool on the top floor, which served to keep us cool and had great sunset views of the city. We will definitely stay here again on our return to Saigon, thank you!

First thing was we took the local bus direct from the airport and got dropped off directly in front of the hotel. Best thing about this place was the location - we walked everywhere, there was the market directly in front of the hotel, with many excellent local places to eat. Next best was the rooftop swimming pool, ideal for a refreshing dip at the end of our long, hot days. I didn't get round to posting this but we were there in 2019, not 2020

This hotel spoilt my holiday. I booked because I read good review but in actual fact, it’s the worst hotel I’d ever stayed. I paid for Premium Deluxe room for 4 nights.
1. Smelly pillow and towels.
2. Very bad breakfast.
3. Room next to other people balcony.
4. Can hear guest from other rooms.
5. Noise room service staff starting 7am cause the switch walk-in talkie volume to maximum.
6. Revocation noise from 7.30am.
7. Nearby bar music too loud.
8. Lobby lights are switch off at 11pm and without staff.
Overall it’s dirty, noisy and I don’t feel safe staying in this hotel.
I’d to keep my cosmetics and perfume inside safety box when o leave room.

This was the first stop in Vietnam after a long flight from Sydney. We were welcomed with a very refreshing drink and shown to our very spacious room with large bathroom & bath. The bed was very comfortable and room very clean, daily maid service was impeccable. The buffet breakfast was abundant with both Asian and Western tastes catered for. the staff were friendly and welcoming. Great location for the city and sights.

Philadelphia, Pennsylvania1,610 contribution157 helpful votes1) Are there laundry facilities in this hotel?
2) Are there nearby laundry facilities for next day service?
They do have the service but it is cheaper to have done outside. There are lots of laundry services in the area
The hotel can arrange for you, but a taxi from the airport is quite reasonable if you use one of the bigger companies
There is a note by reception regarding guests - an additional fee will be payable.
