We had a enjoyable 4 night stay here. The location was perfect for our needs - quiet and tranquil (as it ever gets in busy HCMC).
It ticked all our boxes: family run business, very friendly and helpful staff, secure location (there is always a...More
I picked Ma Maison on the basis of Trip Advisor reviews and I was not disappointed during my two night stay. I was delighted with my experience from the moment I arrived and received refreshments and a thorough orientation from Ms Long. The hotel is...More
A sanctuary in busy Ho Chi Minh City! We stayed twice in Ma Maison; at the beginning of our trip, and because we liked it so much we decided to stay there our last 2 nights too.

We spent three nights at Ma Maison and we loved it for so many reasons: it is quiet but not boring, clean but not clinical, very comfortable but not deluxe, away from touristic District 1 but well connected to it. Just what we were looking...More

The hotel is in District 3, we got the bus no 65 if I recall, into the city the bus stop is beside the park (I'll talk about the park at the end) on the main road just 5 minutes from the hotel, Tom who is especially sweet insisted he took us to the bus stop. You can take a taxi however the traffic is crazy. The tunnels as per previous info. We did eat locally to the hotel and it was where locals ate. Noodles, veg, chilli garlic affair. We also took a taxi nearer the centre and ate at lovely vegetarian restaurant called Hum.
The park, my husband and I went early in the morning 6.00am and the different activities that were going on was fantastic to see. Well worth a stroll around the little oasis among the frenetic scene outside the park.
Happy travels. X
