Cat Huy was a really interesting blend of value for money, good location and basic facilities. It doesn't claim to be anything fancy, I think it's a 2 star hotel, but the place is clean and the staff are friendly. It's located on a quiet back street that is really quite confronting when you first arrive as it's a dark...

The location is great - quiet at night, a little aside from the noisy Pham Ngu Lao street, but still close to everything. The staff is very helpfull and speaks good English. Rooms are modern, clean and spacious. We really didn't like the air-con there. It's noisy and its hum from all the rooms resonates through the walls, so it's...

Very nice place, quiet, because it s located in a narrow street with no traffic, only pedestrian. The room has: AC, TV, bathroom, fridge and good wifi, comfortable bed. you can book airport transfer for 15 usd, so they pick you up at the airport. breakfast: ham & cheese omelet with hot baguette & butter, coffee or tea, fruit. Decent hotel close to the backpacker ghetto, but on a quiet street/alley. Room was basic and fine, the staff were friendly although the service was let enthusiastic compared to other places we stayed, the breakfast was limited but ok. The best part is the good value for central HCMC.

We needed somewhere to stay on arrival in Saigon and booked this budget hotel the night before arriving. Great value for money with a large bed and decent bathroom. Great location in the city, as the main street behind is full of restaurants and bars, so was a great place to spend one night. Staff were helpful and room was...

Stayed here 4 nights - initially booked 2 and added an impromptu 2 more nights because we enjoyed it so much. Location is awesome!! 1-2 minute walk to Bue Vie where there is a lot going on, and an easy walk to anything else in the city. We did not need to use a motorbike or cab and were able...

Great little hotel in a central, yet out-of-the-way location. The staff is great and goes out of their way to make you feel welcome. The decorations are tasteful, and I appreciated the complimentary tea and the anti-fog mirror. Would stay there again.
