Stayed here for a two day business conference. Hotel is very well situated in the city centre, a 30 minute drive from the airport (traffic permitting) and is close to many of the main tourist attractions.
Check in was smooth and courteous. Room was spacious, well equipped and clean. A large bathroom with bath and shower and the bed was very comfortable. Wifi was included and there was a strong service in the room and throughout the hotel. The main restaurant on the ground floor was used for breakfast where there was an extensive and good quality buffet. Service from all staff throughout the hotel was friendly and efficient.
This was a good stay and I would recommend this hotel to others seeking a centrally located and good quality, good value hotel.

We stayed at the Intercontinental Saigon over the Christmas period, and all I can say is WOW. From the location of the hotel to the professionalism of the staff. The rooms are tastefully decorated, and paying a bit more for the Club Room was well worth it, as you are treated to access to the Club Lounge, where breakfast, tea and a light dinner await. I can not express how impressed we were at the warmth and hospitality of the staff. On Christmas Day we decided to spoil ourselves with a booking at the Spa. Now, I must warn, the spa is understated. The Sauna and Jacuzzi are only accessible through the gym. That being said, this was most certainly the best massage I had ever received. (Ask for Ruby!) All in all, we had a most memorable stay, and would implore any onlookers to stay at this fine establishment.

The IC Saigon is a solid choice as most IC‘s are in Asia within the group of hotels. I like the chains differing architecture, superb service and very comfortable rooms. About the IC Saigon, COVID restrictions still hamper some of the restaurant services. Breakfast is a la carte in the adjoining IC Residences rather than buffet style in the main building. The restaurant gets busy, it is rather small and service can be slow. The Library Lounge is comfortable and serves excellent Vietnamese coffee…a must try with sweet, condensed milk. The Chinese restaurant offers an all you can eat dim sum dinner which was excellent. The outside pool on the 3rd floor is 20 meters long, nice for doing laps. I would have liked to have had beverage service pool side which isn’t offered. The lobby is elegant, however small with not many seating options. As the hotel is in District 1, most tourist sites can be reached by foot within 20 minutes. A Taxi ride from the airport to the IC takes about 30-45min depending on traffic and costs roughly US$10 or 20,000VND. If you are planning on changing $ or € at the hotel, make sure the bills are new and crisp with no tears or holes - they won’t be accepted otherwise.

Arrived at the airport and our hotel pickup was waiting for us. A short drive to the hotel and we were taken straight up to the club lounge for check in as we had booked a club room for four nights. Our room was excellent with all the amenities you would expect. The club lounge is beautifully decorated and staff were excellent. Breakfast was excellent with buffet offerings as well as a la carte. Afternoon tea and evening cocktails were great also with the usual buffet offerings and some a la carte although I think we would have preferred it if everything was buffet and you didn't have to keep ordering food off a menu.
Hotel location is excellent within walking distance of most attractions although you have to get used to the nightmare traffic and take your life in your hands to cross the roads. We eventually got used to this. There are plenty of taxis waiting if you wish to drive. It is also within walking distance of loads of excellent restaurants and bars. A great place to stay.

5 Star perfection from the moment we arrived to the moment we left.
We arrived very early at 09:00am and acknowledged our Ambassador status and were informed that due to the hotel being full, they don't quite have a room ready for us and invited us to their coffee shop until they would have a room ready. They apologized (which wasn't necessary, as we knew we were very early and couldn't fault the hotel). We decided to go for a stroll and returned to the hotel at 10:30am. The front desk staff recognized us as we went straight to the coffee shop and advised us that they were just cleaning the room and it would be ready shortly. Maybe 15 minutes later, they came with our room key to the room where they had already placed our bags.
The hotel is excellently located, just around the corner from Notre Dame and the Old Post Office. Located in District 1 and within walking distance to everything.
We were given a beautiful corner room with views of Notre Dame and to the side the direction of the river. We couldn't fault anything with the room which was a large size. An extremely comfortable king bed, well stocked minibar, complimentary waters every day, a huge bathroom with a bath tub and an extra large walk in shower. We slept wonderfully every night. The rooms were soundproofed and their was no outside noise.
There is a very large gym with lots of equipment as well as a nice outside lap pool.
We had breakfast everyday in their breakfast restaurant Market 39. The breakfast buffet was extensive and delicious with countless options for western and asian foods. The staff were kind, courteous and attentive. Coffee or tea was offered immediately upon sitting down. Different breakfast stations where you could have asian or western foods cooked to order. Eggs cooked to order, pancakes, and anything else were options to order. Fresh juices, fresh cut fruit and delicious desserts rounded out the high quality offerings.
As stated in the title, our stay was absolutely flawless. From the kind staff at reception and in the restaurant to the excellent standard of our room. The Intercontinental Saigon did not disappoint and is probably the best 5 star hotel in Saigon.

We stayed twice at the IH Saigon and both times everything was perfect. We always book a Club room as we enjoy eating light and informally for breakfast, after noon tea and canapes etc in the evening. It's certainly worth the extra cost. It also makes check in and out so easy, no lines! In all areas of the hotel, the staff were so friendly and always so helpful. I must mention Ms Lam Thao and her Concierge Team. Our 2 visits were during the build up to Lunar New Year and so everywhere was very very busy with families travelling to get together. Our 2 visits involved twice Arrival/Depart Saigon airport (domestic and international) and which was pandemonium. Ms Lam Theo arranged all our transportations and Fast Track at the airport and made it so easy. Easier than London Heathrow! We don't how we would have managed without this service as we are super seniors, 80 and 76. Thank you IH Saigon for 2 great stays at your hotel Roger and Jackie.

Stayed here 1 night with wife and son on a layover. The room was well furnished and the staff helpful.
Location was near to tourist spots but would recommend to get a grab (which is quite affordable)

Within 5-min walking distance to Central Post Office and book street, the hotel is convenient with polite staff from the bell boys, reception, waiters to the cleaners. Tipping is not expected for good service from the heart. We were a family of 3 in the hotel with a spacious king-sized bed and superior mattress and a kid's single bed. We enjoyed the swimming, steam sauna facilities but it was a shame that the pool closed at 6 pm and without any food/ drinks supplied at poolside except water. The bathtub was leaky so we used it infrequently. Breakfast buffet discount of 20% off the bill (incl tax & service charge) for IHG rewards members (free registration). Highly recommended to book the Cu Chi Tunnel tour with the hotel for a group tour to a local-frequented and less touristy tour of the Vietnam war tunnel.

Journey time depends on trafiic which in HCMC is always congested. Allocate about 45 mins to Journey

Hi. I have checked for you with the hotel and they confirm that at the Club level they do have 2 club rooms interconnecting a) king room interconnecting to twin room) or b) a deluxe suite connecting with club twin room.
They advise you book early as these rooms are limited. Hope this helps you.
The canapes served in the evening are different every day. We had chicken and meat dishes on eveing and some prawns and fish the other.
For breakfast in the main area in lobby they had the usual egg station, bacon and sausgaes as well as local hot rice soups and noodles.
The pool area is wind free which is unlike another hotel I stayed at. Personally didn’t eat, but people were eating hotel food around the pool. (This is in The Residences) the sun beds overlook the pool & a cement wall.
There are more places to choose from in the Ho Chi Minh City area.
