We just love everything about this hotel! We stayed for one week and we have to start by saying that Hannah is the most amazing host we’ve ever seen. She runs the place all by herself, which is unbelievable given the level of cleanliness, organization and coziness of the hotel. She welcomes and checks-in the guests, she meticulously cleans the rooms everyday and prepares each guest’s breakfast right on time. She asks what you wanna have and then go to the kitchen and make your breakfast, which is kinda unique and lovely (and delicious we have to say!). She can explain and book the tours for you and also give you some tips about where to find local food and have local experiences. About the rooms, they are very comfortable, modern and clean, as are the bathrooms. The sheets, mattress and pillow are of high quality and natural mineral water are given for free everyday. If you ask for it, Hannah can do the laundry for you for a very fair price (the same price of doing outside the hotel). In addition, the location is perfect, right in the corner of Bui Vien Street, but still incredibly quite during the night. To sum up, we had an incredible experience with this hotel and we wouldn’t even think twice to stay there again when we go to Saigon one more time.

Very satisfied with this small hotel, located not far from the center of HCM and, for those who love nightlife and "particular" clubs, very close to the lively Bui Vien street. It is on 4 floors, without a lift (perhaps the only flaw), but managed solely by a petite and pretty woman, who works tirelessly, taking care of practically everything. My room, on the third floor (the woman who managed it, however small, helped me carry my suitcase!), was equipped with every comfort (including a working safe and mini fridge with a small freezer compartment), a clean bathroom with the usual kit, functional shower and not worn and scented towels, ditto for the sheets, on a double bed (and not 1 1/2 square) easily accessible, however, only from one side (due to the small size of the room, but anyway sufficient for short stays (I spent 5 days there). There is also a "fake" window, in the sense that it looked onto the wall of the adjacent building (but, in any case, it allowed air to circulate by opening it..) Breakfast is served. on the ground floor, from 7 to 10 if I remember correctly: plenty of delicious local fruit and eggs freshly prepared, according to the customer's preferences, as well as tea, coffee and jam available. To access the structure, you need to enter a numeric code + pound sign on of a keypad located in the external sliding glass; code which, to make it easier to use, the lady will memorize with 4 digits corresponding to your day and month of birth. Paid around 22 euros per night (including breakfast). The swimming pool that can be seen in the photos is no longer present, perhaps located nearby... but no longer accessible (from what I understand) after the covid emergency. I definitely recommend it for anyone who has to stay in Saigon. I forgot: not far from the famous Ben Thanh market, reachable on foot.

Such a lovely hotel with small rooms, I love the design and decorations. Location, yes, is very close to the clubbing scene, it is still in a quiet alley, you do not hear the music and noise.
I was expecting a pool, and this is why we have chosen this hotel. It was the last stop on our SE trip, wanted to chill by the pool during the days as well, this was really disappointing when the host said that after Covid no more access to the pool.
Breakfast is eaten in the lobby. Also, we had an early morning flight, she prepared us breakfast boxes (just sweets) but it was still nice to have something.

I don’t often write reviews, but I felt it was important to share my experience since it differed quite a bit from the reviews I read before booking.
The Place Pros: The room was spotless and very clean. It’s a small, cozy space, but it had everything I needed, and it’s clear that a lot of thought went into the details.
Cons: Noise: Unfortunately, despite the double-glazed windows, it was still quite noisy, especially on Saturday and Sunday nights. Even with earplugs, I found it hard to sleep.
Kitchen/Living Area: This was a bit misleading. The main photo of the living area is actually a shared breakfast space for groups, available only until 9:30 AM. I wasn’t able to use it at all. When I asked if I could sit there to work, I was told it wasn’t allowed and was instead directed to a coffee shop.
Water pressure: Very low. Thankfully, I only needed to wash my hair once.
Bed: The mattress was quite firm. While not unbearable, it wasn’t comfortable for my back.
Location: While central, the area is very touristy and hard to access by car. Expect to be dropped off on a busy street and carry your luggage to the property. Next time in Saigon, I’d likely choose a less touristy area to experience more local culture and cuisine.
Accessibility: My room had 4 flights of stairs, which can be challenging when carrying suitcases.
Customer Service The host, while fluent in English, had a rather condescending tone, which left me feeling unwelcome.
Here are a few examples: • When I arrived for breakfast at 9:15 (it ends at 9:30), she seemed visibly annoyed and said, “OK fine, I will still serve you.” • When I had trouble with the safe box and asked for help, her response was, “You’re not doing it right. You need to read the instructions.” I explained I had, but she repeated, “You need to read it; everything is on the box.” • For a local restaurant recommendation, it took her 10 minutes to explain something vague instead of simply giving names. I ended up wandering aimlessly and crossing chaotic city intersections far more than I wanted.
I felt as though any question or request was seen as an hassle or inconvenience. For me, how I’m treated is just as important as the space itself. A clean and functional room isn’t enough if the hospitality doesn’t match.
While the property itself is clean, central, and practical, the overall experience was impacted by the lack of warmth and hospitality.
I hope the feedback is helpful. I would not return or recommend Urban Lodge to friends.

Lovely hotel right near 'walking street'. The street it is on is more of a built up alley (cars wouldn't fit but bikes can)
Our room was on the 4th floor (no lift) and was to the bottom rear of the property. The room was clean and comfortable and nicely presented. Location was great, and noise from the busy area couldn't be heard in room with window closed. We were also able to walk to some of the main museums within around 15 mins. I would definitely recommend but you may need to look in a different area if you have mobility needs.

Urban Lodge Hotel, just off Bui Viên St, is the ideal location for a stay in Ho Chi Minh City. It is close to markets, the CBD and the entertainment district. We stayed there twice in the last month. Both times the rooms were quite roomy, modern, very clean and quiet. The manager, Hannah, is so helpful and goes out of her way to make sure you are comfortable and looked after. Breakfast is made to order, we chose pancakes, eggs and bacon, fruit. Pho was also available in a big bowl. Hannah’s advice regarding buying a local SIM card, reliable ATM’s, good restaurants, tours and taxis was invaluable. Highly recommended

Woke the manager up at 5 a.m. to get into room so not a good start but all was good and Hannah the manager was a real gem, she looked after everything with local information, cleaning the room every day and cooking a breakfast every morning to get you started, all this by herself. The room was very comfortable, clean and roomy. The location is great in a laneway of Bui Vien Street but very quiet yet close to many good Bars and Restaurants. I will return to this beauty whenever in Saigon...

Lovely hotel very centrally located on a side street with lots of restaurants and no road noise. It is small and quiet with more of a homestay feel which we really liked, and Hannah the owner was always around.
Our room was clean and tastefully decorated. Hannah provided delicious breakfasts and was available for any questions we had about the city as we had just arrived. We stayed again before our return flight and Hannah was very helpful organising taxi transfers for a good price. Overall we loved our stay and would definitely recommend.

This hotel is great for the traveler who wants to be near tourist sights yet still have ample space for accommodation. The room was relatively large and definitely enough space for two people. The bathroom is clean and modern as well. Additionally, the hostess Hannah is incredible. She helped book numerous tours and provided breakfast for hotel guests. The hotel is relatively close to a part of the city with numerous bars however the boise did not impact sleep. The place is awesome, and I would highly recommend it.

The Urban Lodge Hotel is the perfect place to stay if you want to be close to everything, looking for hospitable service, and really want to experience the live and go spirit of Ho Chi Minh. The host, Hannah, is incredible and provides guest with a warm and welcoming stay. She cooks an incredible omelette for guests and makes a delicious Vietnamese coffee. The hotel is a boutique style hotel with excellent attention to detail and decor. The rooms facing the street can be slightly noisy. Luckily, it is off the Main Street and in an alley with other restaurants, bars, and shops. Hannah also offered my wife assistance with shopping, coffee and buying tips, and great conversation. Everything was close by, no longer than 20 minute walking to major attractions. We would stay here again.
